Please leave your jokes, salt, and reality-spinning aside and let us discuss this in an adult manner. I'm kidding, go ahead and do all you want GAF. :)

Usually people ask the other way around: Would you vote for Hillary if Bernie loses? Some would say 'no', they hate Clinton as if she had killed their puppies. "How dare she even run for president?". Some do say that she doesn't represent their values as a democrat. The remaining would definitely vote for her in order to stop a republican taking the presidential post.

In this case, as a democrat, what would you do? Would you still write-in her name or would you go on board with Bernie? Or would you.. vote Trump? :s

Better yet, do you think the party will divide if Bernie wins the nomination?

Absolutely. Not because I like him terribly much but because the supreme court is too important to let slip.

As long as theres a brokered convention for the republicans, I don't give a shit who wins on the democratic side. I just want this over with so we can get to the shit that matters, SC judges and the protection of rights for minorities.

Sure. I'd probably be cringing for half of the general due to stupid mistakes his team would make, but I've voted for worse.

Bernie seems pretty popular and it seems his popularity is only growing so probably him.

I feel the party establishment would be pretty stupid to go against him if he were nominated

Undoubtedly. Between him and Trump or Cruz it's a no-brainer.

It's when it comes down to Hilary or Trump/Cruz is when I have to sit down and make the hard choices.

I mean until the Republican Party mellows out and puts forth a candidate that isn't a complete asshole I'm voting for whichever democrat is nominated.

With how polarizing parties are in the USA, i don't understand how anybody would not vote Dem if Hillary/Bernie lost (whoever is their horse).

Im pretty sure having Cruz/Trump win can't absolutely be better than having the Dem you don't like win.

I have yet to meet a single Hillary person in my local circle in South Florida that would not vote for Bernie if he beat her in pledged delegates. Why? Because he'd still be better than any Republican for furthering Democratic principles. Even though they have their doubts about Bernie actually supporting the Democratic Party from here on out.

Why wouldn't I? I'm not a perpetual manchild who cries because X didn't win a nomination. I vote for the betterment of those who aren't America's default, not to impress my Facebook friends and tumblr feed. I'll vote for whoever wins.

Of course.

Absolutely. He's not my first choice and I question a few of his policies (and quite vocally at times, even on NeoGAF), but he's a perfectly good candidate and I'd gladly vote for him. I hope that all other Hillary supporters would do the same (and that Bernie supporters would support Hillary).

Yes. I have serious concerns about him, but he is better than the Republican candidates in every conceivable way

I have no reason to not support Dems so of course I would.

I'm not a bitter queen who'd vote for Trump like some Bernie supporters have said.....

Yes. Someone asked me this the other day and said communist (not socialist) I suppose to make it seem worse. As if a choice between Bernie and Trump/Cruz whatever is such a difficult one.

Speaking as someone who voted for Hillary in the primary and stronger prefers her over Bernie, I would absolutely vote for him in the general. On occasion here I have said that the Supreme Court is far too important to the future of progressive politics (think Citizens United and gutting the Voting Rights Act just for starters) for "Bernie or Bust" to be an even remotely good idea. It would be hypocritical of me to ignore my own advice. Besides, even if I'm extremely skeptical that he could actually get much of anything done as president, a Republican president would actively take us backwards.

Pretty much. As long as whoever becomes president elects liberal SC justices that's all that matters. That's going to be their presidential legacy.

Absolutely not. First of all, he won't be running. Second of all, it is absolutely imperative we don't allow Republicans nominate any justices.

edit-misread the title. Of course.

I prefer Clinton, but would still vote for Sanders. I like Sanders for the most part.

Sadly, my brother wouldn't vote for Sanders. He only kinda likes Clinton and doesn't like any other candidate in this election.

Absolutely, I was never feeling the Bern or anything but I like his ideals. I'm just highly skeptical of how he plans on fulfilling them. Cruz or Trump are not even options to me.

absolutely.

I will vote for Hillary if Bernie loses.

Either is infinitely better than anybody coming from the right.

Yes I have adamantly backed this philosophy. The GOP is a joke party. In America we really only have one functional party and one poisonous party.

I'm voting Democrat regardless of the nominee.

Any normal person would do the same - the modern GOP simply can't be trusted to run the country.
