The PC version will never touch console sales. I have no idea of the source of your "notion" but it stinks of straw. Having said that, FIFA 11 PC is just a reskinned FIFA 10. The new engine is nice, but it's nowhere near feature parity yet.

you do realize Konami sold 8.64m of PES in 2009, and 1.4m in Q1 2010? Fifa might be selling a bit better, but lol at 10x...

11 on PC is just the Fifa 10 of the 360/PS3. Is this a way to treat PC gamers?
I have bought the 2, and while FIfa is not bad (pretty good actually), PES 2011 on PC is the game of the year. period.
Oh, thanks EA for not including all the teams that were part of WC 2010. clever!

Sports Champions takes another dive - I think evergreen status is unlikely now.

Wii Party opens low, but the next week or two will give us a better idea of whether it will be a Wii Sports Resort or a Wii Music.

Enslaved and Castlevania didn't do very well. I'm not particularly interested in either game for one or another reason, but seeing two otherwise presumably good Action Adventures opening so low is kinda sad. :(

Euro Enslaved CE (not available in the UK) and dirt cheap Castlevania (at least it was in Germany) may have made people buy their local versions!
I usually get all my games from the UK, but I bought both Enslaved and Castlevania here in Germany for these reasons.

I know, anecdotal evidence, but maybe a few thousand people who did this may have impacted these numbers, especially if they're not huge overall.

PES charting below a 2nd week FIFA shows how far that franchise has fallen.

To be fair though, these games are still charting below Dead Rising 2's third week and some versions are charting below FIFA 11 Wii's second week.

Sure, I'm not saying they sold great to begin with, just trying to explain why these games especially might be missing a sale or two in the UK.

Overall, I'm still pretty disappointed in their performance.

"A few thousand" copies is probably what these games actually sold. There's no way imports would make much of a difference.

It's strange seeing some games chart better on 360, others on PS3. Although I suppose with the numbers involved they're probably almost level pegging and it's just statistical error.

Since the numbers are so low, my guess would be that it reflects the technical performance of each version.

With this few people buying the games, there's a fair chance that the people who did are also the kinds of people who have both HD consoles and read up on performance differences.

At least, there's a chance that there's enough of them to shift the sales 500 or so copies in one direction or the other.

I'm working out the numbers here, and they will be very low:

- Halo Reach at #4 is just over 26,000
- PES 2011 sold just over 80,000 so based on the Halo Reach number the sales spilt is 4:1 (PS3/Xbox 360)
