Keita as his continuous savior in this kidnapping and confinement incident. For Bell Liberty Academy they really have high profile events happening, the experimentation even sounded way too intense. I wonder how it will all resolve in this the final volume. Good art as usual, and Shunsuke is still the best.

It's a shame that we live in a world where Soul Catchers survived the harsh Jump environment, but something like Smoky BB didn't, even if it was bad. I hope DTL is wrong about the popularity.

Odd relationship mainly since Maki is so angry at times when he has someone all over him all the time. The scene with changing in the classroom was funny just for how jealous he felt but then was a bit angry he punched him and almost ruined his face. At least they made up. Part 3 was quite worth it.

They may get angry for several chapters but at least they make up in the most hilarious ways, best brothers in the family.

Just when I was thinking that the organization or whatever institution Hina and Anzu are part of should do something about the both of them disappearing, someone suddenly showed up but it turns out she's even more useless lol
Welp, it's a shame I'm caught up already, that was an incredible ride. The deadpan humor in this manga is not exactly new but thanks to the characters just as entertaining as anywhere else. I think I like Hitomi the best considering what a badass she has become, although it does not always prevent her from being on the receiving end. Anzu is an incredible sweet girl who has grown a ton, Nitta who has the patience of a saint and Hina is just... Hina.

The prologue is over, and it is time to begin the main story. Daimon lost the tournament badly. At least Sena found his love for football, and he managed to beat Shin (for one round)! The art is slowly getting better and better. Himura is the Takamura (Hajime) of this manga.
Time to watch the Daimon team become a godly team. Training and recruitment arcs activate!
I have a good feeling that I will continue to enjoy this manga.

It wasn't without its faults, but ultimately this was my favourite josei series I've read. The best parts were unquestionably the interactions between the two rivals, and that endgame in particular. I'm naturally interested in the as-of-yet untranslated follow-up volume, although with Kana effectively vegetablised I doubt it'd ever grip me to the same extent.
