I'm more surprised at Kingdom Hearts charting than PS3 winning the month. I knew the series was still surprisingly popular among non gamers but I didn't know it was this much.

And all it took was an entire console generation for the PS3 to hit its stride, amazing turnaround

Xbox 360 remains the number one selling console in the U.S. in 2013, with 1.6 million units sold this year. (Source: NPD Group, September 2013)

If hardware is still down month over month, the ps3 and 360 probably didn't do that well. Curious how far off between the two wii u is.

That's the first thing that came to mind. It's pretty awesome that PS3 finally broke through with GTA but last month the entire thread was "wow terrible." Numbers this month are probably soooo bad.

Well done!

360 will outsell overall Wii in North America by the end of the year total, probably or early next year.

200% increase for Wii U is legitimately shocking, even if it still isn't breaking the 100k barometer. I assume it's the Wind Waker bundle that was released before the game's retail date.

Curious to see how next month will pan out once it's sunk in a bit.

Why didn't Rayman sell well...? It deserved to do much better than it did, the game is amazing.

Origins sold like crap too. This shouldn't come as a surprise to anybody. I'm assuming - like Origins - that this was a game made on a modest budget and even with poor sales will do enough to stay in the black.

Why are strippers at the U.N. bad when they're great at strip clubs???

Wow! The PS3 was the best-selling home console and the 3DS beat its numbers as well?

Hmm...are the percentage details on the first post month over month, or year over year? If 360 is 169k, and ps3 is more than that, I fail to see how there can be a hardware drop.

Wait, does the GTA V positioning on the chart not include any copies that were bundled with hardware? If so... would that mean that it might have...gasp... sold more on PS3?

You seem a little bit invested in Sony

More than "a little bit" I think. Is that a problem or something?

Since they say over 200% increase, I think WiiU will prob be 95k - 100k
93k would be exactly 200% so I assume its over that
