These end up so short when they are action heavy chapters, though the benefit is I can just let chapters stack and not have to bear the pressure of waiting another week for them to take a battle stance and then end the chapter, like it did here

So I just marathoned Magi and all I can say is what the fuck happened? It was pretty cool for like 140 chapters then the plot got all crazy with like 20 different people all having different convoluted objectives for the world or whatever. I miss wacky dungeon adventures ;_;

Also is Morgiana doomed to irrelevancy now? She's now the weakest of all the main characters/villains by far.

Ultimate!! Hentai Kamen

This was an incredibly amusing series, pretty much every chapter made me laugh. This is a series where you know if you'll like it from chapter 1. If you don't like the first chapter then you won't like the rest, they're all pretty much the same thing. The 2 main gags are Hentai Kamen's special moves and his entrances, I found them funny everytime but it's probably not for everyone. There isn't really a story and what little story there was gets thrown out the window after the time skip in the last few chapters. Hentai Kamen was a funny series that I would reccomend at least giving a shot.

Characters: 8/10
Overall: 8/10

Yea, it's a lot better than the last like, 50 or so chapters but now it's going straight back into political drama and evil/not-evil schemes. It's pretty exhausting reading all the craziness in such a short amount of time.

edit: I guess I have a few questions too about the political situation, so

-Empress - wants to destroy the world
-Kouen, 2nd prince guy - want to unify the world under one king
-Tatskuya (sp) and Judal - probably going to seriously fuck shit up in the future
and then everyone else is pretty much kind of neutral, though it's unlikely that the princesses will turn against Aladdin and friends, also there is something wrong with the water-Djinn controlling princess that we don't quite know yet.

is that pretty much it?

Good emotions, comedy, and nice baseball spirit for all. Im still amazed the art is quite good this early on and the plot reminds extremely exciting even here at this training camp level.

I never knew how cliche this series was until I watched the anime Today

Also the animators had a field day with their constant camera panning and random colour gradients... The manditory disco ball in the school grounds doesn't help either.

I guess the premise is interesting but it is pretty shoujo. Not so much in shoujo drama, but we got the cheerful female lead, the doomed childhood friend and the pretty bishounen love interest. Not so sure how must I want to keep reading this...

A batshit mass murderer is given a reprieve from her execution to work for the government killing other maniacal criminals. In this opening chapter, she deals with another such psychopath by chasing down his train through the subway in her partner's car, turning him into bloody mulch and then somehow causing the train to burst from the underground and into the top of a skyscraper. It's crazy, gory, over-the-top yuri magnificence that I absolutely can't wait to read more of. If the MC did ever follow through on her implied intention to eventually kill her waifu then I would just die.

The first time I heard of this, is that the Edge of Tomorrow is basically the western movie adaption of the novel featuring Tom Cruise which comes out in a few months I believe (I don't really expect it to be good because the only Tom Cruise movie I liked was Top Gun for how cheesy it was and Tropic Thunder he was funny as a side character). Then I looked it up and I'm surprised that that Obata is drawing this series. They should have kept the title All You Need is Kill. It sounds awesome in a engrishy, I used google translate kind of way, while Edge of Tomorrow sounds pretty generic.

Yes the buy 4 for 3 deal as well as the huge discounts on viz manga (often their manga is just around 5.99 if you preorder early enough) makes it the only place I buy manga. Plus in store selection is awful and their yaoi manga be all hidden.

The American Jump editor said to be kn the lookout for World Trigger, Souma, Haikyuu and Isobee Isobee Minogatari. Guess theywill be getting releases here. Though I have no fucking clue why they would release that shit Monogatari here when there is plenty of better manga. You wnt release AssClass and Psi Kusou Saiki because they are gag manga and Japanese among other reasons but you release the most Japanese of them all? Fuck off and Release Soul Catcher(s)
