Picked up the three PS2 games at a pawn shop today. Ultimate Casino = Simple 2000 vol. 6, Ultimate Pro Pinball's scratched to death sadly (I had this on Xbox, but it's not backwards compatible with the 360 ;_; ) and Dinosaur Adventure also has an EB pre-owned sticker on it, so it's been around the block a few times!

I think I'll be the only one is this thread not posting GTA IV.:lol These are all from last month, I just didn't get around to taking pictures till tonight. I think this is the first month I didn't buy anything for my 360.


PSX Games. I've been trying to track down Bushido Blade forever. I also found out they mislabled the CDs for Strider 1 and 2 on every copy when the game was released.









A bunch of these are games I read about in a thread about under appreciated games this month. I've only gotten to play Mark of the Kri so far, but I'm really liking the unique fighting mechanic and the art style for the cut scenes is gorgeous. Also special thanks to Jody Anthony for sending me Wild Arms 3. It's the first game I'm getting to once finals are over. I rebought Gun Valkyrie and Phantom Dust as I gave them away earlier. They're both amazing, Gun Valkyrie isn't compatible with the 360 yet though.



Oddworld! :D I've been trying to find these games again. I got Stranger's Wrath last month and loved it.



My Dreamcast died and I managed to find this on Ebay for pretty cheap.



And my biggest purchase in awhile. I've been looking for one of these forever and finally found one at a pretty decent price. I think I'll be done spending money for the rest of May now though. :lol

Holy shit at the Metal Gear stuff, especially the PSP.

To people that play Persona: I hate RPG's, I hate grinding, I hate walls of text. Would I like Persona? I don't mean to troll but I've been thinking about picking it up because everyone is going nuts over it but I don't think I would like it.

As much as I want to say yes, you probably wouldn't enjoy it too much if you hate RPG's in general. It isn't really a game that redefines the genre, so all the traditional RPG trappings, e.g. grinding, text, etc, are all still in there.

Brother bought a small LCD tv, so i picked up his old sony widescreen CRT, moved up my PS2 from 40" 1080P screen to SDTV, ps2 games look much better on this, so ps3/360 = down at hdtv and ps2 is up at sdtv :D.

Is it just the picture or is the convergence really that bad at the sides? My dad has a Samsung SlimFit that has some pretty bad convergence issues.

This thread started at 10 pm April 30th for me...Unless you want me to travel into the future you're going to get my April purchases.

Two recent pickups and my April haul in total. Most expensive month ever for me, I think, and that was with getting the PS3 and 360 at great prices off of Craigslist. Not to mention taking pretty good advantage of the Target clearance deals.

yeah its the picture, i took it quickly in the dark, think thats why, irl it looks perfect :)
