Latest drivers: (as at 21/12/2017)
Nvidia: 388.71
AMD: 17.12.2
Intel: Depends on your processor; download the driver update utility

Tips and tricks:
Various CPU/GPU benchmarks and data: See this GameGPU article.
Note: The article is in Russian, but the data is presented via graphs.
Cap the framerate/potentially improve frametimes: Download RivaTuner Statistics Server, input your desired framerate limit in the "Framerate limit" box, and hit enter (the program comes bundled with MSI Afterburner and earlier versions of EVGA PrecisionX). Alternatively, those with an Nvidia GPU have the option of Nvidia Inspector, which can also be used to impose a framerate cap, either in a similar manner to RTSS or by way of forcing a different vsync interval (click the small tool icon to open the game profile section).
Note: Useful if you your system can't maintain, say, 60fps and you're sensitive to the wild fluctuations, or you're experiencing uneven frametimes. The greater window the engine has to render a given frame, if you're imposing a lower framerate than the game can otherwise provide, may also help in alleviating stuttering related to data streaming.
Stop the game from crashing after 15 minutes on touch-capable systems running Windows 10: Open the task manager, switch to the Services tab and disable TabletInputService.
Enable motion blur: Navigate to steamapps\common\EvolveGame, create a new text file and name it autoexec.cfg, and input r_MotionBlur = 1. (Credit to Dictator93.)
Set your desired framerate cap: If you haven't already done so, create an autoexec.cfg file in the root of the game's installation folder following the instructions above and input sys_MaxFPS = xxx, where xxx is your desired cap. (Credit to Dictator93.)

Cross posting from the beta thread: How to add motionblur, SLI (if the profile isn't out), how to get rid of the FPS cap.

Hi Everyone (PC users),
I have done some config tweaking and such and have found out ways to get SLI / Crossfire working (glitch free) as well as enabling motionblur.

To enable motion blur:
1. Create a "autoexec.cfg" file in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\EvolveBeta" directory.

2. Type "r_MotionBlur = 1" into this file and save it.

To enable SLI:
1. Download Nvidia Inspector
2. Add the "StaticLauncher64.exe" in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\EvolveBeta\Bin64_SteamRetail" directory to the Ryse profile
3. Make sure you are using FXAA, No AA, SMAA 1x or SMAA T1x to prevent any glitches
4. Alt tab in and out of game to make sure it is using Fullscreen mode to ensure good SLI scaling

If anyone can cross post this to other forums that are discussing the game, that would be great.

Screenshots showing motionblur and SLI scaling (dont mind my texture quality settings):

You can also add "sys_MaxFPS = ???" where "???" is any number. This changes the max framerate as shown in the screenshot below.

Ta, I added the former to the OP (347.25 includes an SLI profile for Evolve with the very same bits).

Edit: Oh, didn't catch the FSP cap removal tip. I'll add that in a minute. Done.

I played a bot match as monster in the map Distillery and these are the results I got. 1080p with all settings on low, vsync and AA disabled. My specs are 660ti, 3570k@4.4GHz, and 16GB of RAM.

Want me to edit my post away since it is big and ugly?

Those look pretty fine, in terms of averages but those jumps in MS look scary. Did you notice a periodic stutter?

I played a bot game as the monster, everything on very high+ some AA solution and had like constant 60 fps on my 970 >:D

8 Gb of some wayne ram

Thanks for the headsup. Going to wait it out, only an hour to go now and cba for single player but really disappointed to see they haven't fixed the motion blur.

In the last beta you had to do the command line stuff as well. When you enable it you get these slight graphical glitches on the screen borders with some effects, a little distracting but worth it. I assume that's why they didn't add the option to the in-game settings.

Game looks like ass without it imo. Definitely turning it on. But config editing for motion blur -__-

Hoping to be able to run it at max settings at 1080p 60fps.

780ti
i7 4770k - 4.2 GHZ
16 gb RAM

Will update later and give my results

Been messing around in solo mode the past couple hours I have everything maxed out and i am getting a pretty stable 60fps. I haven't tried changing the fps cap yet though.

I am running a gtx 970, i7 4770k @ 4.3ghz, and 16gb ram

Is there an evolve article coming Andy?

Fraid not. You can't change settings mid-game, and there's no way to reliably return to the exact same spot with identical weather and environment conditions for a comparison image. The best I could do was the real-time menu where you pick whether to be a monster or hunter and that was in no way engaging.

I didn't go too deep into the game after that, but from what I can tell it's built using similar CryEngine tech to Crysis 3, so should work similarly under the hood.

right, i had forgotten about the settings issue from the beta.

The tutorials may serve that purpose, particularly the Hunter one. They start you off at the same spot and time of day.

We've released new Evolve Game Ready drivers: http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/geforce-347-52-whql-driver-released

Usual assortment of optimizations, tweaks, and profiles (including SLI for Evolve).

That article mentions gameworks features being added to evolve, there is more than just TXAA? Or does the TXAA jsut currently work. I dont have the game to test it.

Game is so much smoother than it was in alpha/beta, well optimized and working like a dream here for me, max settings, on simply an AMD Radeon HD 7700 card. Seems well optimized to me, settings are pretty easy to get going, frame rate is smooth, it looks really good too.

Noticed the videos in the final game also look a lot less compressed now.

In the beta the txaa was lacking the msaa aspect. It still proved to be the best option(not by as much naturally.) Also, the smaa 1tx is not the solution found in ryse

There was an article on pcgameshardware.de last week that mentioned hbao+

Found it.

Mfaa is also mentioned. The beta had no hardware aa support tho
Cryengine does have MSAA support, the PBR update from Ryse left it defunct though. I am assuming they have to fix the resolve so it works again and then all the MSAA type features will work.

Also, Nvidia is going to be releasing an MFAA that works without MSAA soon. It will just be a purely post process temporal solution then which can apply to a bunch of games. Tom Petersen mentioned it on PcPer like 3 weeks ago now. Also HBAO+ vs SSDO... hrm. They both have their advantages... SSDO has proper support for deferred lights and HBAO+ has great temporal stability...

Does the game support MFAA natively ? Like it does not need to be activated through the driver panel like in other games ?

I have not tested MFAA in the retail, but I believe it'll work... As for GameWorks stuff, can't talk about that yet.

Does this game support 21:9 resolutions?
yes, but it breaks a lot of stuff when displayed in 21:9. This is what you'll end up with.

A lot of people, me included, now have the issue that GeForce Experience is crashing. Apparently it happens when clicking on the Drivers-tab.
Same for me, Geforce experience crashes the moment I open it with the new driver installed.

Evolve doesnt appear to be using pbr tho

Quickly switch the tab in the geforce experience out of the driver's page, press the x on the dialog pop-up and you should be fine.

On my i52500k @ 4.6ghz, 8GB RAM and a 970 the game runs at 60 at all times.
I got everything on ultra except shadows and particle effects, those are on high.

Game just runs absolutely flawlessly.

It is, their artstyle just precludes it being obvious. Nearly everything is overly diffuse (clay looking IMO, bad material definitions for a lot of stuff).

They migrated over to PBR a while ago (last year around E3 I think). They mentioned it in video interviews and in a reddit AMA.

beta refused to run at 60fps [on max settings] @ 1440p with my rig;

4770k
16GB ram
780ti

might try lowering some settings if i buy the game, but that's not looking likely

I couldn't get my machine to run at 1440p reliably, but once I turned it down to 1080 it was smooth as butter.
