Gvaz said:So how does Link have the master sword in the beginning of the game?
That was just for the demo, a part of the final game's story is making a sword into the Master Sword.Gvaz said:So how does Link have the master sword in the beginning of the game? At least in the Demo...
Yep the goddess/skyward sword.Truth101 said:He has the Skyward Sword.
Beat your stealth edit, ahaahahah.
Also your edit answered your question, it is a demo.

Unless you are talking about getting an early US/review copy, in which case EXCCUUUUUSE ME PRINCESS.
Gvaz said:What's that Shield Bar on the UI btw? What purpose does stamina hold?
You can shield bash or block certain attacks with a nunchuk push and if done incorrectly, your bar drains. You can pay to fix it at the Skyloft shop because otherwise the shield will be broken entirely and you'll have to buy a new one. Upgrading shields increases their bar length.Gvaz said:What's that Shield Bar on the UI btw? What purpose does stamina hold?

So you came into the other thread saying that SS plot proves all Zelda stories are the same and you didn't even read it or else you wouldn't have summarized the story wrong and you don't even know these key details...........lol.Gvaz said:So does this take place before or after wind waker?
I was saying zelda games essentially use a mad lib sheet and fill in the blanks with different characters or settings. Which is true, based on the other games so far. The story or end output is different but everything else is the same in terms of story and mechanics.Lord_Byron28 said:So you came into the other thread saying that SS plot proves all Zelda stories are the same and you didn't even read it or else you wouldn't have summarized the story wrong and you don't even know these key details...........lol.
As far as I could tell from the demo, it is just initially used to get you to hold up your wiimote properly to determine your center position when using motion+RoadHazard said:Is there no IR pointing whatsoever in this game? That might actually work out in my favor, since my sensor bar is broken and I don't really feel like getting a new one. I could just use a couple of candles to start the game up, and then not have to care. Or is the sensor bar (or whatever IR source you use) used to recalibrate the Wiimote on the fly?
You could argue that point for every game ever made with a sequel.Gvaz said:I was saying zelda games essentially use a mad lib sheet and fill in the blanks with different characters or settings. Anyways, I only skimmed it because I didn't want to remember how the game ends even though I know right now.

In several reviews they have confirmed that they in fact didn't want to make it this grand inspiring game, but rather make sure it stayed solid like OoT. Of course Aonuma and Miyamoto wont say stuff like that because they are the pr heads of the game. As someone who loved OoT it feels uninspired to me as well.
Uninspired is the last word I'd use for this game.
That is how most franchises work. Since it is a just released game, I'll use Uncharted as a great example of this. New locations, new villains, same exact gameplay. Actually a little worse this time around to be honest.Gvaz said:I was saying zelda games essentially use a mad lib sheet and fill in the blanks with different characters or settings. Yes this is what I said. Every single series(Videogame, book, movies, tv show, etc.) could be condensed down the same way Gvaz did in the other thread.Thoraxes said:You could argue that point for every game ever made with a sequel.

they somehow hacked the entire game's plot as well as a good chunk of the script from this demo which was made in August 2010Chesskid1 said:http://crediar.no-ip.com/needhelp.jpg
