There's trouble in paradise as conflict breaks out in Oasis, a brand-new Control map set in one of the world's most advanced cities, a shining jewel rising from the Arabian Desert.

Researchers and academics from around the region came together to found a city dedicated to scientific progress without restraintsa monument to human ingenuity and invention. The city and its inhabitants are governed by the Ministries, a collection of brilliant minds who possess many secrets that have attracted the interest of powerful organizations from around the world.

On this map, teams will need to dodge vehicles and utilize jump pads to capture and defend three unique control points.

I want to be excited but in the 30-40 hours I've played since Eichenwalde came out I've seen it literally twice. Here's hoping I get to play this map at least once over the next week.

Downloading (edit: installed! My patch size was under a gig I believe). Hype. Excited to try this out - wonder how often it'll pop up in rotation, or is it featured some way in the arcade mode? (Edit: IS featured in Arcade...)

Edit: just booted it up and it still shows Winter Wonderland on the main page - when is that over? I thought my chances for getting Winter loot boxes was over...

Edit to my edit: guess the winter wonderland still showing up earlier was just due to it not being fully switched over? And there is infact a dedicated oasis 24/7 game mode in arcade...

Even though I realize why it's a crying shame that Overwatch doesn't really have "music". What little short jingles are there, as well as the trailer scores, have all been fantastic.

Hanamura? 2CP maps can burn for all I care. Hanamura, Anubis, Volskaya - They're all awful. The best maps are escort and KotH maps (and the hybrid maps are mostly ok).

They could remove Volskaya from the game and I doubt many would complain tbh.
