Well none of the games on those list need origin to run . U can still use amazons downloader or register on origin, install and launch through steam.
It's $7 with the coupon $12 without.

I guess I'll join in the $5 coupon begging, lol. If, for whatever reason, you don't have a use for your code, then I'd trade for it. I have a few Steam coupons, if that interests you. *sigh*... If I had known that games on Amazon's bestsellers list would actually go on sale while the coupons are still valid, then I would have bought a few more games during the December promotion. Having seen Amazon raise prices substantially during their B2G1 free sales, I expected these coupon codes to be virtually worthless.

Seriously, those deals are insane, You can buy 5 games from 2011 for less than 20$ and You could get codes for 2$ with a game on christmas sales!

Yep they usually go live around the 12-1 AM PST time frame sometimes later but if u want specifics I've seen they usually go live around 12:40 or so.
I feel sorry for anyone who wasted codes on GTA4, Duke and Homefront.

ah, see, if they're not steam, i can still make peace with it, but origin? no sale.
Well none of the games actually require origin to be running and u dont have to use origin at all to install afaik.

I bought Dead Space 2 for $5 when it was $10, damn... I don't even plan to play it anytime soon.

That was a Origin exclusive thing for pre-orders (or a limited time after release as far as I remember), so I'm betting no.
And it doesn't require Origin to be running (I got it off D2D and only had to register my key).

Could you elaborate on the bolded part? You have to have an EA account (or Origin Account)? I think I have one on the PS3, it was required to play FIFA online. Can I use that? (Haven't bought PC EA games for a looooong time)

So how does one go about getting a promo code?
Yeah it brought up a window to use my EA login to register the key when I started up the install.
I'm preeeeeetty sure you can use the one you have on PS3 (unless it tied directly to your PSN account, then I'm not sure). But I just had to enter an email I used for that account and my EA password or whatever.
Though this is months ago when it released so my memory may be a little hazy.

They were given out for buying Amazon DD games in December.
I have 4 left. I would have been so pissed if I had used up my only one on buying Duke.
Looks good, I might have to triple dip on DA Origins, I have both the original and ultimate editions on the 360 already but would be fun to replay on the PC. My poor slow DSL connection is going to be busy downloading until this summer it looks like. My 1.5TB drive with all of my steam/gog/gamersgate/amazon/humble/impulse/etc games died earlier this week, seagate is shipping a warranty replacement but gonna have to redownload everything again.
And here I thought those $5 coupons would be worthless.
