Great video. Hadn't heard of the first one, but man, that was good.
Oh my goodness, I will forever be paranoid that everything is secretly Frog Fractions 2.
Plot twist: Frog Fractions 2 is announced and released like any other game... except it turns out to be Half-Life 3.
Your 401K actually IS the Frog Fractions 2 Kickstarter, so you should probably keep that money there.

Yeah it's getting funded, it's already at 11k/60k. Will hit some of the stretch goals probably too. The original was an incredible game, so insane.

I love the fact that I'm signing up to it on the understanding that I won't even be informed when it's done. There's something bracing about diving into the unknown.

I'm a student with limited budget, but I just backed the game regardless. The first was so, so fantastic that I can't not support these guys.

Thus arises a new indie business strategy: make your games just the right amount of weird so that gamers will buy them on the off chance they're Frog Fractions 2.
Or, even better: make normal games that have hidden, dada-esque depths to trick people into thinking your game is Frog Fractions 2.

Backed to t-shirt level. I almost don't want to be a backer though, knowing fully that I'm going to receive the game once it exists. They should probably send a series of decoy games out to backers.

Sorry to double post, but is there anything that allows you to import a VM or similar? Could the comment block be a VM, and the make bread directive code for that? Also, there seem to be some other hints in the video (view count 0415 or similar is mentioned by one of the overlays).

I played all the way to the credits, which I assume was the end. Spoiler:
I bought all unlocks while at the presidential mansion, except for the autolock uninstall, since I wanted to keep it installed.
I also presumably figured the stuff out myself, and I like when a game is easy enough that I can do that.

So, the funding has slowed down a bit, but its just below the halfway point now. There's 26 days to go so plenty of time left yet.

There's still 17 days left, but I'm concerned that it won't make the $60k target, since the funding seems to be slowing off a lot now after the initial madness.

Pretty much every kickstarter gets huge funding boosts at the last minute if there's any kind of real following. Shantae got like $150k or so in the last two days.

I did my part. I don't even know why, I never got past the text adventure part of the original game. Just seems like the right thing to do.
I live a block away from the berkeley campus, so I will definitely be there. How did you get to that point? Solely from the text adventure?

Without question the best parts of the original were the underwater bit and the text adventure.
