Game looks like it may play like a modern Subspace Continuum ... I'm downloading now so I'll know soon. Being put out by ArmatureStudios. 10 vs 10 spaceship battles with resource control points based on the info on their website. Game releases in early 2016.

Crap looks like I missed out on nabbing a code, let me know how good the game is Gaf. Is there anywhere to signup for the beta or are they not taking any atm.
 
Halfway through download I'll post impressions. I'm really hoping it plays like Subspace or like that old space game from SEN Cosmic Rift (Infantry was big back then too).
 
Same here.. looks amazing, first I've heard of it.. used to play Subspace all the time back in the day!

Oh god please yes. I used to play SS and Infantry. Some of you may remember me by my other name... VectorBoy.

Ok so I went through the tutorial. DEFINITELY Subspace Continuum vibes going on here. Basically you start in a sector of space controlled by your home base. You can go mining to bring back ore to upgrade your base defenses. If you move into an enemy sector (by destroying the energy shield blocking it off) you can try to take the enemy base controlling that sector. The energy field blocking sectors recharges and has to be destroyed again meaning you can find yourself trapped in enemy sector with bad guys chasing you. Destroying enemy ships gives you match xp you can use to upgrade your ship. upgrades include main weapons, shield, 2 special weapon, and usually some support item.

There are 12 ships to pick from you can bring 3 to a match (your ship "loadout"). The 12 ships range from super fast/fragile to capital ship but slow and all 12 have asymmetric weapons and support items. There are also friendly AI drones you can attach to your ship to help with your attack runs.

Hard to explain but I think this game will get a following, definitely some depth. Actual scrims with enemies feels very Subspace like.

I only played through tutorial, not enough people online to start a match. Hopefully this means they give out more keys.
 
Reminds me a bit of armada online. Looks great and would be interested in a code for this. Maybe 2 - if there are enough - so I don't have to test this alone haha
 
game looks super cool, If you wind up getting more codes I would definitely love one. I had a lot of fun playing Subspace (Trench Wars what what?) and then Infantry online when that came out. Although I didn't enjoy cosmic rift as much. I don't expect this to be too much like my personal experience those though, one of the coolest things for me in those games was the zone customization, when Infantry was fresh you had like the submarine zone, the rpg zone where you leveled up your dude with kills and noobium and stuff, and the big CTF maps where people would spam the giant plasma cannons into hallways for hours.
 
I'll drop more codes here if I should happen to get anymore. I asked but no guarantees. not enough people online yet anyways to get a full match going.
 
I just got 9 more codes PMed to me for GAFers, I'm assuming from a dev. I'll PM them out in order of those who have requested when I get home from work between 7 - 8 PST. Remember you need a US PSN account to download which is easy to make if you are out of region.

God I love Continuum, spent thousands of hours in that game. If this is anything like it I'll be following its development very closely.
