If you don't like youtube or my stuff here are the pros cons

Pros
Nightmare mode is ace
Zombie mode
Much of the time it looks great
Music
Sound(with a caveat)
Voice actors galore though with a bad story
MP has been a blast

Cons
GFX hitches on XBOX One during levels with a lot of smoke. Strangely far more drops in FPS with PS4 now as I continue to replay through the single player.

A bit of frame drops in campaign but really, I mean, the game looks stunning and there's a lot of stuff going on gameplay wise that wasn't there before.

Not a nuisance for me but I understand if some people are thrown off.

They had to make some concessions , and I think they struck a nice balance between visual fidelity and playability.

By polished I mean the overall delivery of the game, the OST, the facial animation, the scripting, the UI and player customization.

It's all top shelf.

Unless I'm going crazy, this game looks far better than the other COD's graphically. Looks like they really improved things, especially with the lighting.

I don't play either very much. Only played Halo 4 and BlOps 1 but thoroughly enjoyed both. Maybe Halo 4 slightly more but this sounds like it's loaded with content.

Wait how are they capturing raw footage and collating that? Is it pixal difference like Digital Foundry or something more rough like NXgamer. Because there is a large accuracy issue there. Simply talking about the graph.

On the PC I think the Advanced Warfare campaign looked significantly better than what I've seen of BO3 so far.

I was expecting he wouldn't like it as much. He was a big fan of AW's movement system and he has never liked the zombies stuff in Blops before.
