Gives all the fucks
Oh that's right, Miitomo's out this month along with My Nintendo/Club Nintendo's replacement. Maybe it'll help motivate me to buy more digital games or VC titles, considering that's how you earn Gold points.

Too many games to play. I still have a Fire Emblem and a half, the new one comes out on the 10th, Popolocrois is out, I might have Pokken to review... #FirstWorldProblems

Nintendo eShop (Wii U)

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD (Nintendo, available March 4) - €49.99/£39.99
Travel between the worlds of light and dark to save the land of Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD for Wii U. This definitive edition of the beloved adventure game for Nintendo GameCube and Wii features revitalised visuals that will further immerse players in its stunning landscapes and epic story. You play as Link, a farm hand who is chosen by the gods to free the kingdom of Hyrule from the clutches of the King of Shadows, Zant, who has cursed the land with a perpetual twilight. To help him take on this new menace and break the curse that has transformed him into a wolf, Link will team up with the mysterious and mischievous Midna, a creature from a corrupted dimension called the Twilight Realm. Use the Wii U GamePad touch screen to equip items and view maps without pausing the game, aim your Hero’s Bow and more using intuitive motion controls, or enjoy all the action on just one screen with Off-TV Play.

Chasing Dead (2020 Venture) - €29.99/£24.99
The game begins with a strange phenomenon in which another Earth appears in our skies. Curiosity and fear of a doppelganger planet initiates multiple missions in order to make contact with the duplicate Earth. A team of agents, astronauts, and scientists were sent 955,600 miles across space by NASA and the US Military, however all contact is lost a few hours after their arrival. You play as a marine named Jake, who is sent on a mission to retrieve any research and data left behind by the original survey team while fighting off hostile forces. As Jake, you must traverse the zombie-ridden lands of the alternate Earth as you battle endless hordes of the undead, frightening mutants and insane soldiers.

Grumpy Reaper (EnjoyUp Games) - €4.99/£4.49
Grumpy Reaper is an arcade-style game that includes elements of skill in different playing modes. Death's granddaughter has stolen the keys to the Underworld to unleash creatures on the world! Take on the role of Grumpy, mow the lawn and find the lost keys to help Death solve this problem through multiple time trial, nocturnal and survival levels! Death has not left you on your own! Improve your lawn mower to turn it into a lethal weapon against the monsters. Control tornadoes, turn yourself into a Zombie, wear armour to survive and restore peace... if you can...

U Host (Bear Box Media) - €9.99/£8.99
Have you ever wanted to create your own Game Show? Well now you can! Grab up to 4 friends or teams, and throw them head first into the game show of your making! Host your own Quiz with a choice of over 1000 questions from 10 categories, or better yet, create 2 custom categories with the in-game question creator! Got an up-coming event, such as a party, baby shower, or birthday? Write some personalized questions, and add that extra touch to the event. The fun doesn't stop at quizzes though! Play all sorts of multiplayer mini-games, and be as nice or as mean as you like. Remember, it's your Game Show! You're the Host!

Advance Wars: Dual Strike (Nintendo, DS VC) - €9.99/£8.99
Confront the deadly Black Hole Army's invading forces, in tactical battles that play out across both of the DS' screens. New Commanding Officers join familiar faces - with a total of nine new characters, now you possess even more options in battle. Taking full advantage of the DS' capabilities, there are two kinds of battle, Normal and DS. In Normal mode the battle map appears on the touch screen while you use the top screen to keep tabs on key information about your units and your enemies! DS Battle mode lets you take a more all-encompassing view, using both screens to display the action as you and Black Hole clash in mortal combat.

These months are going by too fast.

I have TPHD coming in and I'm on the fence with Pokken and PopoloCrois. Looking forward to Miitomo and whatever random eshop games pop up. Feels like a very good month for me.

I picked up Project x Zone 2 a few days ago and have been playing that. Actually having a blast with it. I haven't even started Fates yet. :x

Oh right, Hyrule Warriors Legends is out this month. Considering Japan got a demo, I really hope the US gets it as well, especially considering how different it runs on New 3DS compared to OG.

Maybe I'll cancel my pre-order on that & get Pokken instead. I've long lost interest in Pokemon, but I don't mind trying the spin-offs.

Ghost Recon is talked about as a pretty decent strategy game, right? Is it actually good, or was it just good in the absence of a Fire Emblem game or the like?

If someone is wondering what Star Ghost is, it's a shoot'em up developed by a ex-Rare/Retro member with David 'Fucking' Wise music.
Wii U exclusive.

Oh that's right, Miitomo's out this month along with My Nintendo/Club Nintendo's replacement. Maybe it'll help motivate me to buy more digital games or VC titles, considering that's how you earn Gold points.

TPHD may well be my last physical game on Wii U after that stuff out. Assuming Nintendo isn't so short-sighted that they continue to bundle exclusive amiibos with discs, which it most certainly will.

Ghost Recon Shadow Wars is good good. Not "there's nothing to play so this is the best you can do" good. Made by the original creator of X-COM, damnit!

I got Pure Chess on the 3DS eshop last night. I've been playing chess at the local library and want to get better. This game is fun because it has difficulty settings, so the computer is not too hard on you if you don't want it to be.

Looking forward to trying out Miitomo. Chances of a N. Direct around it's release? Maybe not to cover that specifically, just in general.

Parascientific Escape Cruise in the Distant Seas (Circle Ent.) - €4.99/£3.99
Hitomi Akeneno is a 16 year old high school student with a little secret - she has not one, but two psychic powers! After receiving an invitation, she boards a luxury cruise ship with her friend, Chisono Shio. As soon as she enters a suite room, a loud explosion sounds…and she finds herself stuck, unable to get out. Is this an accident? Or something far more sinister…? The only way to find out is to escape with the help of her powers.

Well, Zero Escape fever got me bad. The game looks horrible, but for 5 EUR I'll bite and will report back for para-science.

I guess Stella Glow is finally out in PAL regions. Is it actually any good? Can't really tell from the demo.

It's not too difficult or complex, but is an enjoyable little tactical RPG. It's another Luminous Arc with a different name, essentially.

Gamesrocket have the EU eShop code for Twilight Princess at £30.95. Until you login. Then an extra £6 gets added on. Is it just me this happens with?

Please let there be a surprise Box Boy 2 release tomorrow after the Direct....

I actually don't see any of tomorrow's games up on Nintendo's site, so maybe they'll keep some of the stuff hitting tomorrow a secret?

Maybe tomorrow will be when Nintendo Account is fully implemented along with My Nintendo launching?

Still not seeing tomorrow's games on Nintendo's site, guessing there'll be a few revealed tomorrow & will be available once the Direct's done.

OlliOlli can do it. Xeodrifter too.

Those are eshop games though; not VC.

Anyway, I'm curious if SNES games will really be coming to 3DS VC.

It really doesn't make a difference. They're all software bought on the eShop. The eShop supports conditional discounts. If you buy something, you can get something else for free or at a discounted price if it fits the promotion. OlliOlli and Xenodrifter are just two examples.

On the Wii U ... Nintendo provides discounts for NES and SNES VC titles if you've previously bought them on the Wii. There's also been indie game sales that provide discounts after buying more than one title in a given promotion.

It's really up to Nintendo. I don't think there's anything stopping them.

The only difference is that as far as I know, Nintendo has never made 3DS virtual console games crossbuy with Wii U. I don't personally have a Wii U, so the one crossbuy game I have downloaded (Mario vs DK: Tipping Stars), I sold the Wii U code on GAF. But anyway, if the rumor is true, SNES games may only come to the New 3DS, and I don't have one; only an original XL.

Indeed my post used does not instead of cannot for this reason.

Any chance we get our usual spring VC update? Or is SNES on N3DS the update?

Honestly, I think Mother 3 is more likely than SNES games on 3DS. The only reason why it would make sense to start releasing SNES games on 3DS now would be to promote account services.

Man is it weird to say that Mother 3 is more likely than something.
