99 tears has got to be what Bandai-Namco is crying after those sales. Ouch.

Big drop for the Dragonball Z game series as well. It's the number one game this week but the victory is a bit bittersweet. They should have kept the games on PS2 for a bit longer.

oh snap! Looks like Tecmo's really gonna have to start from scratch (or completely shitcan) the NG franchise if they hope to eek any further profits out of it and appeal once again to their hometown audience. Total bomba on the DS and now the 360.

Not sure why people are surprised at NGII sales. It's not good, but it was expected.

lol are you people seriously comparing Wii Fit to Monster Hunter? Isn't one priced radically different than the other, and isn't it also arguably a new mini console?

Fucking wow on DBZ ps3 and NG2 for the 360. One in a good way and one in a bad way.

I don't think either of those figures are good, looking at it in a historical context. Of course NG2 is expected to sell poorly, but Burst Limit sold significantly less than the last DBZ fighter, I think.

Do I smell a Ninja Gaiden 2 Sigma for the PS3? I say no unless it also bombs in NA and Europe.

How did Sigma perform in Japan? On launch week I mean.

Yeah, no surprise here. It's a niche game on a last place console. NG:DS was a bit of a shock, this is not.

And also, Japan is one's strongest market by far, and Japan is most likely the other's weakest market.

So? I see GH and RB compared to other games regardless of price

You know a lot of people worship Itagaki like he's the second coming of Christ. Besides putting big titted women on every game, the gameplay of most of his games has been average at best. Ninja Gaiden for the xbox was great, but NG2 has proven to be more of the same, but with a terrible camera. Hell, the visuals aren't even that great. Not for the 360 anyway. The guy's a pompus ass and not capable of anything original.

Well at least you admit that much.

Mario is like the Godfather of videogames. He has all kinds of games that sell at any given time and they are often great games.

GO NSMB GO

i agree. not even halo or grand theft auto can match its appeal and over all worldwide sales, the original super mario bros. is proof of its immortality ... can NSMB match it ? .. well see ...
