Crystal Bearers bomba.

Pokemon, Tomodachi and Wii Fit are beasts.

Also, is that good for L4D2? Seems to be for a 360 shooter in Japan.

26./46. [NDS] New Super Mario Bros. (Nintendo)

One can only hope that New Super Mario Bros. Wii is still in the top 30 three years after it's release.

Good to see Bayonetta hanging around.

I was going to say - even if it did die out like 99.9% of JPN - hardcore games, it still did a very respectable 250,000 in Japan thus far with both versions combined.

As far as Japan goes I think so far mission accomplished.

All they need to do is release a respectable demo state-side and the demo should sell the game, Bayonetta sells itself.

Either way, it really doesn't matter - since Kamiya doesn't do sequals, I doubt he'll be director of Bayonetta 2.

How is Tomodachi Collection still going? Was the game advertised at all or is it solely selling by word of mouth?
I havent seen any ads for it.. But I dont watch to much TV. When I go to the store these usually a pretty big section for this game.

Totally OT, but why are you still a junior?

On the Playstation forums you have like GAZILLION billion post, and here you have 13k, why haven't you earned it? ;)
It's not that he didn't earn it. It's that he lost it at some point.

Get outta here, this is a portable dominated sales thread...

Only one new game on top 5.
And it looks like those games will stay on the chart a few more month.

NSMBWii isn't out yet?

08./01. J-League Pro Soccer Club o Tsukurou! 6: Pride of J (SEGA) - 24,000 / 109,000 (-72%)

21./12. Bayonetta (SEGA)

eff you Japan , Bayo need legs , buy more Bayonetta.

and seriously SEGA need to bring back Virtua Striker , look how WE11 and Inazuma Eleven doing , it's clear that there is huge market for football games ( all kind sim , fantasy , strategy ) in Japan now.

Just some anecdotal evidence. When I went to buy Ratchet & Clank this past weekend in Tokyo it was sold out almost everywhere. I went to a Biccamera in Yurakucho launch day and it was sold out. I went to FIVE different stores in Akihabara on monday where it was sold out. Including the big stores Yodobashi and a Boof Off in Akiba. I eventually scored a copy in a Softmap.

Anyway, I think retailers did not order enough units because they were expecting sub 10k sales for this game based on sales of ToD. I expect it would have done much better with more faith by the retailers.

Anyone else have problems finding R&C?

That's.... pretty plausible actually. The Ratchet & Clank series has never been a huge seller in its first month. Still, its hard to see it beating Up Your Arsenal's 1st month but its certainly plausible.

I doubt A Crack in Time will do as well long term as the PS2 Ratchets though.
Well, we know A Crack In Time was approximately 100,000 for the month, but it did release near the end, so it's possible it sold the fastest still if the other Ratchets released earlier in the month.

But yeah, I doubt it'll sell anywhere near the PS2 Ratchet games if you discount the tons of bundles it's likely to get put into.

Well A Crack In Time is doing better TOD in most territories. Its US opening was a few days and outdid TOD decently, and TOD eventually cracked 500,000 in the US. But it'll never catch up to Insomniac's PS2 games (it should beat the Size Matters PS2 port though :lol)

In the season finale of the Full Moon Show (Insomniac's Podcast) they mentioned making Ratchet mainstream worldwide, I'm not sure how they'll do it. A movie (Isn't Spyro getting a movie?)? A tv show? More bushy brow manga?

Who cares about worldwide sales. This is a Media Create thread. Let's discuss if the PSP Go will sell less than the Xbox360 on next week's chart. :D

It's Japan's version of GBA vs PS3 NPD title fight! Bring it on!
