What's the bundle-vs-non-bundle saga? Just Kinect bundles doing well?

Will be interesting to see what happens to PSP next month. It will have a full five weeks of post-price-drop sales.

Predictions later. Just wanted to chime in. :)

Tax season.
Actually, wasn't that the month that NPD adjusted their modeling? I wouldn't rule that out as a factor, if I'm remembering correctly. Maybe not *the* factor, but possibly *a* factor.

[WII] 355K

Hoping DS doesn't screw me and sales flatline with impending 3DS release, but I'm hoping Black/White might spur some sales. Definitely going to be a huge drop compared to last year's 600k though. Can't believe it managed that many in February.

360s are apparently "in-stock" but it's mostly Kinect bundles. That may or may not be intentional to push up Kinect adoption, but it could be affecting anyone looking for non-bundle SKUs. It was mentioned last month when I said that 360s are "in-stock," and people chimed in that it was pretty much just the bundles that were available.

Edit:
On Amazon right now, they have both Kinect bundles and the 4GB arcade. No plain 250GB 360s, for example.

Is NPD really going to be released on the 10th? Seems pretty early.

Not only that, but will they even be releasing numbers? It seems like with each passing month, less and less information is disclosed. :(

It has become hard to find un-bundled 360s at US retailers for a little while.

I have to imagine this will hurt 360 sales because a fair number of people just don't want Kinect. I wouldn't be that surprised if the 360 was still the top console, but it'll be way closer than before.

According to Pachter, it's due on 10 March. We'll see.

And there were fewer numbers for January 2011 release because Anita Frazier didn't give out any analysis (which often contains some stuff), Sony's PR had nothing in it, and Nintendo didn't put out a PR.
