Why did they choose this guy? I know Dortmund won the league, but the could have gone with other people who deserve it (like Kagawa)

You don't see why they'd choose a German over a Japanese player to be the cover star in Germany? He's a great player as well and played the entire season unlike Kagawa.

Going by your logic, why not Nuri Sahin then since he iwas the one who actually brought the success to the club? Oh no he is a turk......

They had that since Fifa 06 (I think!), It rarely works though, so maybe they can make it so it has greater chance of working this time around.

That's strange... I thought Nuri Sahin was born in Germany. He just plays for the Turkish national team :p

And Hummels rocks. One of the best up-and-coming defenders around.

Why can't they apply just a pinch of cloth physics to the shorts? Still look like they are wearing round card board shorts that never touches their skin.

Even though animations have improved a lot for FIFA, especially in collision detection dpt., there is still something i don't like about them. I can't put my finger on what it is.

They aren't 'ice skating'-like, as they were in older versions but i still don't like something about them :D I think it might have to do with when the ball is in the player's posession. Not that it seems glued to its shoe, but to me it simply looks unnatural.

Yeah but doesnt that mean u have to play with your virtual clubs "made up" players. ie shit players and not much fun. The lack of a proper 2v2 mode is a joke.

I know what you mean. The animations themselves are absolutely fantastic, however I still don't care for...something about them...not sure what it is. I really do think it's the way the player interacts with the ball. PS2 PES/Winning Eleven had the feel nailed...absolutely nailed.

Agreed. It's part of the reason why I can't move away from Pro Evo just yet, despite the palpable flaws.

And then you play with mostly randomly generated players. And only one of you can pick 'any', the other player has to pick as position. Not good enough.

Looks great and all but will the refs be able to make calls this time around. Fifa 11 has some wacky shit that happens like you get wiped out and the ref doesn't give anything and no that's not like real life it's just crap.

Exactly my point! If they are going with the best, they should have gone with Sahin. If they are going with the best German, they should have gone with Manuel Neuer.

Also, if they are going with Germans, what about Ozil and Khadeira?

BVB won the Bundesliga. Şahin doesn't play for the German national team.
