You never made the Season's Beatings thread, somebody else had to step in. You're losing a step USD. You haven't been the same since dat SRK employment :p

GeoNeo

I disagree.
Posting in here since this thread is up.

One more of the Sherry shoot. I'm disappointed she did this though. This is what gamer gurrrls do to look legit and get attention

PbPmO.jpg

Eh...Who gives a fuck let her work the angles man. If she gets money out of it props to her.

To me Mike Ross is like the male version of Sherry. Brotha knows he get them white girls (and gay guys) drooling and he works that shit.

(I know Mike Ross went out with Sherry. I guess what I'm trying to say is Mike Ross feels himself so much he has to find a women that can compare to him. Sherry however could not compare to Mike "Drip Drop" Ross so he snaped her out. Sometimes you just got to spend that meter.)

Umm yeah good shit Sherry you go girl.

Ask Dr. Sub Zero Live is going to be on this Friday @ 7/10pm on thestream.tv

I had read about this, didn't know details, thanks.

Giving an honest answer, it's a lot of things. I just wish I had time for everything.

My favorite weekly digest. I wish I could set these threads to auto-subscribe the second that they are created. Slow week, though, but what else could we expect after the madness of last weekend?

(⌐■_■) - Swag.

no major majors this weekend, whew. we can all breathe for a second

but only for this week cause after that have a gauntlet run of major every weekend until after MWC
Also can anyone give me a link to the Sherri/Q pop off on the EMP stream. I know dnyce said he posted it on youtube.

smurfx

get some go again
i usually work on weekends so i tend to miss most majors so its usually watching the stream archives for me. :(

Brobzoid

how do I slip unnoticed out of a gloryhole booth?
if you miss a stream, do you guys watch youtube replays or twitch archives?

twitch, because I'm usually only six hours or so late and youtube aint up yet.

Sometimes I watch youtubes of Wednesday Night Fights or whatevs if it's just one long video. can't be assed to figure out the order of things otherwise.

I've said this before in a cramped thread, but I think

http://www.twitch.tv/team/fgcpros

should be added to the OP. It's an easy way to automatically see who is streaming, especially since spooky (and arturo, i think) have come back to twitch. It's been around for a while, and it allows me to not have to constantly check if a tournament is on time or over.

Fighting game streams are dead when I'm usually awake, so I usually end up watching Dota/Starcraft player streams.

There needs to be more consistent player streams in the fighting game sector, but I'm pretty sure fight game players are much more secretive of their practice sessions. Online being ass in fighters would also probably factor into it, but there needs to be more entertainment focused fighting game streams!

I never watch twitch archives unless someone points a time to a match that I want to see. Even then I try to avoid it since I have problems with Twitch not going to the time that I select. I know that the quality is much higher but for convenience sake I like YT.

Sorry if I missed your post before, haven't been about to keep track of everything. That's a good idea though, I added it at the top section.

Fersis

It is illegal to Tag Fish in Tag Fishing Sanctuaries by law 38.36 of the GAF Wildlife Act
Sherry? I would choose Karaface any day of the week.

Thanks. I appreciate it. I hope everyone can enjoy it as much as I do.

Since I have your attention, maybe add

http://www.twitch.tv/theboxarena

to the tuesday lineup. They stream Marvel, AE and I think SFxTK. I would say they start around 8 PST, but I'm not sure.

If Viscant isn't playing, he's usually telling an interesting story.

I like how he looks down and has an "i'm sorry" look when he wins at Marvel!

just level up your haggar, man, then it won't look so fraudulent

I almost never watch streams live anymore, and for the past 9-10 months or so, I just use the GAF threads + Twitch archives to get caught up on the highlights.

I "watched" this past weekend's ~23 hours coverage of Seasons Beatings in about 2 hours. I usually just go through the tourney thread, look for hype moments or good fights, then find them in archives. It's pretty easy and efficient once you don't care about watching streams live anymore. Only rarely do I miss streamchat reactions, and chances are it might be captured for Youtube anyway.

For instance, Kusoru vs. tsundere maids http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3Gia9R67tQ

This way you usually you end up knowing who the winner is before you watch the match, not my cup of tea.

Watching live and dscussing moments as they occur is where the fun is for me.

Very good point. Personally, I don't particularly care about getting spoiled though. And many times watching the build-up to the hype moment is just as fun.

Only if there's a teaching moment someone points out to me. A lot of my KOF XP came from a certain legendary troll getting on my ear over AIM and telling me to watch specific vids because it was either stuff specific to my characters, or folks blowing up people trying to fraud the same way I fraud. That's usually done via youtube though, not twitch.

I did watch my KOF stream match at FR to see if the commentators picked anything dumb I was doing.

Sherry? I would choose Karaface any day of the week.

I love Kara's fashion sense.

I usually go with the twitch archives. I'm not trying to watch archives weeks or days later. Also, sometimes I want to catch some commentary that was not in Grand Finals. Twitch archives are usually easier for that sort of thing.

So did anything ever happen with the LI Joe Brazzers sponsorship, or was it a lot of fuss about nothing? I haven't been paying much attention to the FGC scene since SFxT came out.

Last I heard, twitch wouldn't let him broadcast with any Brazzer's gear or allusions to porn. Although I saw somewhere on twitter the advertisements twitch.tv was showing for a dedicated porn receiver.

So, basically, the same.

Joe kinda messed up in terms he was giving them big publicity (Kotaku and gaming sites picking up the story) before he had a deal done with them.

Twitch because it's all there in one piece, including banter inbetween, which adds to the experience of watching, even if it is afterwards. I never use YouTube.

What would be the best solution would be annotated or timestamped (in the description) full streams uploaded to YouTube IMO, because Twitch's player can be frustrating.
