The Verge with another MS leak?

Microsoft is currently testing a modified version of Internet Explorer 9 on its Xbox 360 console, according to our sources. The Xbox 360 currently includes Bing voice search, but it's limited to media results. Microsoft's new Internet Explorer browser for Xbox will expand on this functionality to open up a full browser for the console. We are told that the browser will let Xbox users surf all parts of the web straight from their living rooms.

However, if the rumors that Microsoft is focusing on multimedia functionality for the 360 at this E3, I suspect this would be a part of their showcase.

You know whats going to be funny about this? That it's going to work better than the PS3's shitty browser. I bet 360 owners wont ever have to deal with a freeze or sites and video not working.

Edit- If this is free, won't that make paying to use twitter, facebook, hbogo etc, pointless?
