Never saw the footage clips until this thread, loved the motorcycle and smart car clips, missed the old action guys.

So the theatrical release means kid mode but DVD means adult mode?
No. It means they shot it with the intention of releasing it as a PG13 film and then got a huge amount of backlash from the audience that these movies are suppose to be targeting for selling out. In response we will get a whole bunch of awkwardly ADR'd swear words and CGI blood.

RSTEIN

Comics, serious business!
anti-middle east
anti-africa
pro-america

it was literally "america, fuck yeah!" for an hour and a half.
it wasn't the entertaining kind either, it was just pathetically obvious.

That was kind of the point...

What did you expect?

Still haven't seen the first film may give it a watch on Netflix.

But Simon West is directing this so I'm interested.

"I'll be back"
"You've been back enough! I'll be back this time!"
"Yippee kay-aye"

Drowned in cheese but nothing is stopping me from seeing this movie.

That helicopter vs. motorcycle clip... Doesn't look too hot. Too much CG! Sly what have you done!?

No. It means the movie was shot with no presence of coarse language, nudity or bloody violence, but that it was later added in post-production via CGI and audio-dubbing.

Where did you hear this? I got the impression that they used the PG-13 thing to string Norris along, with no real intention of ever doing anything but R.

Was disappointed with the theatrical release of the first one, however after rewatching the director's cut I didn't think it was that bad.

This one better delivers though.
