Nintendo Insider 9/10

Pullblox World satisfies a near insatiable appetite for a series that has become a beacon of brilliance on the Nintendo eShop. Crafted with undeniable genius, this downloadable release is the latest must have title that no Wii U owner should be without.

Nintendo World Report 9/10

Pushmo World is a delightful HD realization of Pushmo that retains the charm of the original while adding fun new concepts.

US Gamer 9/10

The 'Mo series has been one of Nintendo's best new properties in recent years, so it's great to see it take a leap to the Wii U. And even if you don't consider yourself a master of puzzles, the game does an excellent job of slowly breaking you into its increasing complexity. If you're willing to toss some money in Nintendo's direction, Pushmo World offers enough cerebral challenges to keep you busy throughout the summer — or whenever you need some time away from Mario Kart 8.

Polygon 9/10

Pushmo World offers a constant trickle of "A-ha!" moments

I was new to the franchise when I began playing Pushmo World, but it didn't take long to convert me into a fan. I discovered a constant trickle of "A-ha!" moments that made me feel like I was never far from progress, even when things got tough. That's exactly how I want to feel playing a puzzle game.

Nintendo Life 8/10

Anyone who fancies a good puzzle will enjoy Pushmo World immensely. If you've never played one of these titles before, this is the most refined, complete iteration of the concept, and it's definitely the version to pick up. If you've played one of the other games before, there's not really anything new to see here, although hopefully the online community will produce fun content for years to come; aside from the familiarity, Pushmo World has no major faults. After the departure that was Crashmo (Fallblox), this is also a conservative, by-the-book sequel with that trademark Nintendo polish – you know what you're getting, but what you're getting is delicious.

Destructoid 8/10

Impressive efforts with a few noticeable problems holding it back. Won't astound everyone, but is worth your time and cash.

Venture Beat 75/100

Pushmo World is a fun puzzle game, even if its presentation will make you feel like a preschooler. Still, the easy-to-use level editor really helps make it an easier recommendation to anyone looking for an interesting little addition to their Wii U library.

Digital Chumps 7.4/10

Pushmo World is a nice addition to the Wii U eShop content and should be played by any puzzle fan who hasn't yet experienced Pushmo and doesn't own a 3DS. However, if you're in either of the previous two categories, you would probably be better served to pick up the original Pushmo and/or Crashmo for an equally enjoyable experience at a discounted price with the freedom of portable gaming.

Gamestop 7/10

Engaging, often challenging puzzles built on simple, accessible mechanics
Great difficulty curve that eases you into new concepts
Easy to create and share your own puzzlesThe Bad

Dallas Morning News (no score)

Like its predecessors, Pushmo World is a fantastic puzzle game, full of charm and extremely enjoyable. It can be a bit slow in the beginning if you’re already familiar with the series, but it’s easy to recommend to all Wii U owners whether you played the original or not.

Every time I read that I get slightly more annoyed.

Pushmo is great, and I'm sure this will be as well when I eventually get around to it.

I'm still working my way through Pullblox, never mind Fallblox. Definitely getting this for 30% off though, plus it'll push me over the Nintendo Network Premium points limit to get my first £5 off voucher.

Pushmo and Crashmo are two of my favorite games in recent years. That said, this game just kinda looks like "Pushmo HD." It's not like that's unappealing, but I feel like the concept could be expanded upon for a console game. Is there something I'm missing?

This will be my first Wii U eShop game purchase. Just got a 3DS as well though, so will buy Pullblox first so I qualify for the discount.

I hope you guys enjoy it. I finished it a week back or so and it was nice to get new Pushmo puzzles. Was more comfortable to play using the gamepad than the 3DS for me as well.

Will be downloading this when I get home from work. Looking forward to it.

250 new puzzles and there are some new gadgets which should add something new. Other than that it will look all pretty on your hd tv!
Looking forward to see what puzzles gaf can come up with.

More Pushmo is awesome, but I'm really interested in seeing how the Miiverse part works ingame. Hopefully we can vote for user puzzles and get rankings and whatnot. QR code sharing was neat, but this elevates that sharing aspect to the next level.

Getting this the second it hits the eShop.

As a side note, is there any Pullblox/Fallblox representation at all in Smash Bros so far? Assist trophy maybe? A stage would be cool but I doubt that's happening.

They're releasing these too quickly.

I haven't finished the bonus levels in Pullblox yet, let alone finished Fallblox. And now I have to buy this to take advantage of that 30% off x__x

Gives all the fucks
Hahaha, that OT subtitle.

Bought myself a $10 eShop card yesterday & ready to purchase once it's up in a few hours. Really hope we get the discount that EU gets. Would've been cooler if there was a 50% discount for owning both games or something.

Now to wait & see how long until Crashmo World happens.

Ask me about the moon landing or the temperature at which jet fuel burns. You may be surprised at what you learn.
Damn I would have instantly jumped on the 30% promo if it was in NA.

Lovely OT by the way!

the suspense of whether we will get the discount is killing me, lol. just send out the weekly PR out already and put me out of my misery, NoA!

I don't know why but everytime I see the EU name I only can think of Boom Blox. And that I still need to try that. Don't know which one though.

This is the type of game that had me interested...but I just KNOW I wouldn't find it that interesting once I play it.

In other words, it'll probably be taking up one of my Wii U menu squares and that's about it.

Oh, the UK store now has a little warning about digital content rights before checkout. I guess that must be to do with the new law that came into effect.

I hope I have enough space for it.
