‘FIFA 15’ (-2%) moves back into top spot for the first time in 6 weeks.

It means last week’s No1 ‘Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’ (-34%) is pushed down to No2 while ‘Grand Theft Auto V’ (-20%) is a non-mover at No3. Ubisoft’s ‘Far Cry 4’ (-13%) also holds its position at No4 in its third week. After last week’s Black Friday boost ‘Driveclub’ (-30%) slips two places to No10. There is also a debut in the Top 40 for Square Enix’s ‘Kingdom Hearts HD II.5 Remix’ at No31 exclusively for PS3.

I guess it was just released too late and what you just said, the PS3 sales have collapsed entirely. Just look at CODAW, the 360 one is no.2, PS3 version is at no.25, the same with FIFA15. And those are two of the biggest franchises. I think SE should've made it crossplatoform. But that may have required them making a new engine and that was probably not worth the cost. I fear for Yakuza 5, which is gonna be released in 2015 for the PS3 and only via PSN. Sega really should consider making Yakuza 5 crossplatform, since they already have the engine for the PS4 with Ishin.

2.5 bombed as expected. You don't release PS3 exclusives in December 2014. It dropped quite a bit in Japan too compared to 1.5 so it's not like staying on the platform was worth it.

What other deals are there for Driveclub. I thought it was only the black friday bundles that pushed it up last week.

Wow, you guys weren't kidding. I thought you guys meant it's down there in the charts, but it's nowhere to be found...and the PS3 version never charted. I wonder if DA2 really hurt the franchise so bad that most people are avoiding it or people just aren't interested in RPGs anymore.

Actually, I think the demand was underestimated.

The PS4 version is out of stock in the 3 nearest Game locations to me, the website says to expect a slower delivery time due to demand and Amazon is awaiting a re-stock on the 10th.

Nearly every bundle I've seen advertised on TV, seemed to have [insert title] + Drive Club as its bundle, it's nuts.

Just checked on the XB1 version and Amazon does have stock of it, but it's out of stock in all my local games as well.

Not sure if the game did some real good business on both formats, or EA under-supplied heavily not realising people wanted it.

I noticed over the weekend that no where seemed to have it instock. Went to a Game, 2 Tesco's, a Sainsbury's, a Smythe's and an Asda, and just got back from another Sainsbury's, and between them I saw 1 copy for the PS4, and maybe a half dozen for the XO. 'Tis mental!

Well, i guess Dragon age: Inquisition won't be getting a sequel. Shame, besides the awful conversation system and bugs it's a fairly enjoyable game.

Looking at the bundled games, COD, AC, and FIFA, vs FC4, GTAV and DC, I'd say the PS4 is most likely back on top.

Outside of the bundle (which is going to be the main reason it's selling) the game would be outside the top 20 in both cases, so I'd say the sales aren't that healthy for the title less than a month after launch. Going back to previous years, it's lower than it normally is.

Obviously the game's quality and perhaps series fatigue are setting in.

According to your sample of the three closest GAME stores? You aren't a statistician are you? Because i am. Sure i'm a BIO-statistician in cancer research but i still have basic knowledge in sample survey theory.

Certainly not and a much higher sku on PS4 than the standard. I suppose you could say PS4 owners are more desperate for more racing games but it's still usually high and people certainly aren't buying Forza anymore in good numbers.

DriveClub still climbing. I assume from bundles and sales.

None of which are in my local stores, though. My local GAME have it for £50! Even the console bundle is the most expensive one you can buy.
