Performance seems great, especially considering the significant improvements over the console version. Of course, it's a 60 FPS title on consoles, so it's not too surprising it runs well.

Edit: looking at the higher res GPU benchmarks, AMD performance seems lower than you'd expect. Perhaps a new driver release will improve on that.

Post your results.

That's an amazing image.

Seems to run perfectly for me. Loads of processing power to spare as expected @ 1920x1080p on a 4770K, 2x GTX 780 SLI.

Which makes it a little disappointing that:

A) The game is capped at 60fps
B) DSR isn't yet supported for SLI + G-Sync configurations.. :(

i5 2500k, 8GB RAM, GTX 760 2GB here. Maxed out at 1920x1080.

With old drivers, low 50's dropping up to 42 with hell unleashed on screen.
With beta drivers, high 50's dropping up to 47.

It runs smooth as hell.

Runs like a dream maxed out on my i5 4570/GTX 970 config (downsampling via DSR, not sure which exact resolution lol, just turned it up until I lost locked 60). Great work.

Pretty much my experience on a 3 year old i5 @ 3.5ghz coupled with a GTX 670 4gb. Seems to be running at 60fps about 80/90% of the time with some dips below 50. However unless you have a frame rate counter I can't see you noticing any huge drops in framerate.

The game runs buttery smooth on my i7 975 & GTX 970 with the new beta drivers. No performance dips from what I can tell. Excellent port.

And the game looks incredible. Holy wow. Finally seing the real time intro cutscene was beautiful.

Would be interesting to see benchmarks on the 'high' settings - apparently those are the equivalent to the PS4 'settings'.

Game runs great but I feel like some of the DoF goes overboard. Like maxed out in the options menu the side view of Snake is kinda just blurry. Turning down screen filtering reduces it somewhat. So many settings are wrapped up in SF I wish there was a way to tweak various ones.

Dat 680.

repost

Alright, had to knock down lightning and SSAO down to mere "high". All the other stuff at extra high at 1080p gives me 60fps without any drops, on 2500k@4ghz, 280X, 8GB RAM.

Funnily enough, at 1080p I get 20-40fps in 15 years old game Outcast. But then this is a voxel based game that does not use GPU in any way :)

Why is AMD performance so bad?

nVidia title, so AMD might not have had access to the game before release.
It still runs well enough, but yeah comparable gpu on AMD side is slower than nVidia. I expect driver update soon.

Still it sucks though, it would be nice if both companies had access to all games.

GTX 670
4gb ram
3570k
non-beta driver

Drops from 60 rarely occur, maxed out at extra high for everything at 1080p. Only bugs include some weird DoF when aiming in first person sometimes and some erratic drops turning the camera.

AMD performances are really subpar on this game.. R9 290 performing nearly the same as GTX670 ? This really needs a driver update.

Just sold my i5 setup and bought a cheapo build with parts from Kijiji until the new AMD cards come out, and I'll do a complete rebuild.

Lol specs:
i3 530 4Ghz
Sapphire 7870XT 3 1100/1600

Model Detail - High
Texture Detail - Extra High
Texture Filtering - Extra High
Shadows - High
Lighting - Extra High
Screen Filtering - High
SSAO - High
Effects - Extra High

And getting 60 fps(only played for a few mintues so far) at 1600x900 and 40-50% CPU usage, 60-70% GPU usage. Running the Omega Drivers.

Not many people should problems with this game unless they want high resolutions and maxed out. Can't really tell the difference with the settings I put on High from Extra High.

Only issue so far is that helicopter landings cause my framerate to drop by around 10FPS. And the camera control can be somewhat jerky at times on a controller.

Yeah is the first person aiming supposed to be so ugly? The DoF doesn't look so hot.

4770k
770 2gb

All settings at max

Working with an i5-4670k, GTX 970, 16GB RAM with everything on max on a 1080p display.

This game looks absolutely gorgeous. Jaw-droppingly so. No frame drops that I can notice, no tearing, no aliasing. Good job Kojima.

i7 3770k@3.9GHZ
1920x1080
GTX 780 Classified 3GB (1137MHZ)
Crucial MX100 SSD
8GB RAM
Win 7 64 bit

Played for about an hour, everything maxed, rock solid 60, no drops at all so far.

Anyone with a comparable system to mine have any impression?

i5 2500k 4.2ghz
R9 290
8GB 2133Mhz ram

Playing in 1440p, but I was hoping to downsample from 1800p

I7-870 @3.6
GTX 580(1.5gb)
344.11 Drivers
1080P
high settings

I am getting 51-60fps just running and gunning for around 10 minutes in the opening area.
I hope the 1.5gb Vram doesn't become an issue when I actually sit down and play the game for longer than 10 minutes.
