They could have skipped a ton of that fluff and fast forwarded to that conversation that they just had about half way through the episode.

I know it is tough enough to find food dad but can we also now keep an eye out for insulin. I would rather not tell you why.

The pacing of this show is so awful. But then again, I guess there's no incentive to trim all the fat if they can get away with stretching the story out like this and still pull in ridiculous viewer ratings.

Not that bad of an episode though, considering.

Somewhat of a weak episode. I did enjoy the Michonne parts of the episode though. That scene with her boyfriend, brother, and son was the best part of the episode.
Also, current count is:
Carl - 1
Door - 1
Zombies - 0

- Michonne's dream sequence was awesome.

- Carl is growing up, but is still just a kid.

- Michonne is human.

- Great buildup for what's to come.

I think I will be reading recaps to see if I want to watch the episodes from now on because I am done with all the character "drama".

Its the same themes over and over again at this point and I know it will never happen, I want to see some progress on the dead either falling apart or someone finds a cure or its origins or characters actually grow.

Instead next week we get a recap of what happened to the others and wash, rinse, repeat.

We know at this point everyone's motivations and traits, more blood and guts ain't going to cut it.

The episode was alright, but the Carl scenes really irritated me.

I'm still excited for this season, though. It'll be interesting to see where it goes from here.

Blinded by the luminous glory that is David Bowie's physical manifestation.
I don't get the point of Michonne's hallucinations this episode. They match the fact that Rick has lost everything but Carl, whereas she lost her Fiance/Husband and son?

It was a good episode for building Carl up
though I wanted the little shit to finally die for being so rebellious
but Michonne's bit threw it off a bit.

The was one of the dullest hours of television I have ever seen in my life. Just a bunch of whining and effortless zombie killing. Absolutely no suspense. No threat. Carl weighs like 70 lbs. And that zombie couldn't handle him? How the hell did the rest of society get wiped off so easily?

I never liked Carl I'll admit but this episode made me despise him. What a twat. Just when I thought TWD was now safe from annoying characters.... Shane, Lori, Andrea, and Carol... This turd takes the mantle. Stupid contrived scenes like Rick acting like a zombie or Michonne travelling with a pack of zombies so she could have that scene.

This is what happens when you dispose of a human threat. These characters are aimless. It's just fucking boring. Killing the gov will go down as one of the dumbest moves this dumb show has made.

That is how I felt.
No more kid stuff. People are gonna die. I’m gonna die. Mom…
There’s no way you can ever be ready for it.

I kind of liked the episode. Focused character development, some beautiful shots (I miss the temperate rainforests of TN/GA). Some of the scenes compositions were well done.

Looks like the next episode we'll see the other half of the survivors.

Looking forward to a reduced cast in a new setting without derp Governor.

Michonne is really killing it on talking dead. Never seen her really talk this much in depth about the show

Where they go from here is just as good. It's just a question on how well they will tell the story and how long it will take to get to the next big event.
