Hoping I'll get my game delivered on the 10th by Post Canada. Ordered it from Amazon Prime and it sometimes arrives one day before the estimated delivery date.

I'll most likely start as a Knight or a Cleric and get into that covenant that summons you to protect invaded players. Or be a sunbro like usual.

I want to say that Bandai Namco strategically delayed the PC version so they could get the PC crowd who absolutely must play on day 1 to buy it twice... But if Dark Souls 2 lives up to at least what Dark Souls 1 did I will gladly get both PS3 and PC again.

Between this and South Park Stick of Truth this month is looking to be full of RPG goodness.

It's resistance + agility from what I've gathered, so it sounds like it'll be important this time around.

Picking a class seems a lot harder now. Every one is really good at something, and there have been so many changes to bows, sorcery, swords, faith, and many combat mechanics that DS doesn't really seem like an applicable reference point, or at least compared to Des > DaS.

So, Amazon doesn't have the standard edition available for either platform. My friend says that he can find NOBODY offering the PS3 version of the game at this point.

Now to choose between Swordsman or Explorer... Role-playing-wise, I'd say Explorer feels more similar to the Wanderer, but stats-wise the Swordsman seems closer. Ouch at that 4 vigor though.
