Oh god damn it. This really should have been a 12 episode show, because then they wouldn't have had to go through all these motions. This is where the people adapting the text could have saved it if they had the ambition/power to look at the source material and just cross out the stuff that is there just to sell more novels.

Speaking of which, I still don't know how I feel about shows that lampshade the fact that the main characters are obtuse. On the one hand, it's the author acknowledging that their characters are acting like idiots. On the other hand, it's not like the author can't solve the problem themselves. I'd rather have this romcom time devoted to any of the minor characters, let alone the big whole left by the baseball dude.
But hey, at least this show moves faster than Game of Thrones.

It's almost as if I was following WTK in two places!
Tatami Galaxy bluray box is pretty affordable once you factor in Amazon's discount, but since I'm European I get hit by VAT. One the upside it counts as one item, downside, Amazon still hasn't fixed their tax allocation for my country.
If Ranma works out for them, who knows, but I have my doubts since they're still slowly churning out the manga.
