Can someone attempt to add the PS4 banners (Blue banners please) to
1658645_10151937080170986_489741604_o.jpg
, I want the alternate cover, and it's not included on EU copies so since i'm gonna print it out anyways, may as well make it match the rest of my PS4 library

If you want to add more detail like age ratings and stuff I'm in the UK

EDIT: Tried it myself and came out with a squashed mess, I'm hopeless at this so would be appreciated, thanks

Hey guys,

here are some quick covers I made, hope you enjoy :)

SSX (PS3)

Gran Turismo 5 (PS3)

Muramasa Rebirth (PSVita)

Final Fantasy XIII-2 (PS3), this one should line up with the one Girsej made for Final Fantasy XIII here

Here is the ridiculously high-resolution Knights of the Old Republic II Logo

Difficult to cut out as it blends in with the black. If someone with more skills than I could take a crack at it, would be much appreciated.

Are those for DS cases? Or are you using my template + cardstock to create GB boxes?

If it's the latter, I would recommend using one of the first two. In my experience, having a different color from the spine on the back doesn't fold right when using the cardstock.

No they're for ds cases. I remade the actual us box with your box template

Sorry Grief, I can't spend much more time on this, but I did a quick mask and removed a bit of the background. You will still have to do a few touch ups on some straggler pixels here and there. For the most part, though, I fixed the transparent holes. I apparently missed a pixel width line on either extreme edge of the image...

You should post it either here or the GB/GBA thread!

Even with the GB/GBA boxes I create, I still try to lean towards more minimal designs. I kind of have to include some more logos and screenshots on the back as most of the assets I find tend to be lower-res.

when i printed a test it came out a little too short. if i try printing in photoshop, it is too large and in order to fit it on the paper i have to hit scale to fit but that shrinks it down a bit smaller.

Thanks!

I was reading up on using masks to remove the background last night. I might do a little research next week when I have some time and finish this cut.

Ultimately, I might use what I can for my KOTOR I box art as well, the logo I have for that release is decidedly low-resolution.

Hey guys, sorry for bothering but I have a somewhat dumb question.

I took a few of these to get them printed at a shop since I can't do this at home.
The guy asked me what size I wanted them in and I told him they already had the correct size for printing.

So he opens one of the covers on Photoshop and tells me it can't be right because the size of the cover he opened was 1 meter long horizontally.

I come back home and check the size of the covers. They're all(or practically all of them) 3242x2164. Including the one he said was 1m long.

Am I doing something wrong or is the guy doing something wrong?

You are not doing anything wrong.

Make sure 'Scale to Fit Media' is unchecked and the printer is in landscape

Infamous Second Son

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (The picture quality may be lower than normal for this one, due to the lack of anything high resolution)

Last time I was in Office Max, the employee told me that saving my files in PDF helps speed up the process as his software allows him to queue PDF prints with the same settings, but not for image files.

Does saving as PDF hurt the image quality? Or will it be lossless?

Well, he's gone and gotten himself banned, but at least he can still read this:

Updated the two you liked to have centered spine logos, and the right one's front logo is centered between Elsa's head and the top.

English Versions:

French versions:

Finally unbanned.

I've already sent you my thanks, but I'm saying it again: thank you for this. Great work.

seeing as two recent games I bought dont have regular cases, is there a place I can download a regular FFX/X-2 HD and DarkSouls2 covers for PS3?

Could someone do a Vita (and PS3 if you fancy) FFX/X-II Remastered cover? The default NA one looks like crap. Here are the Japanese ones if you don't feel like stretching your brain to come up with a design. Thanks!

I guess I should get around to doing the Vita version of this (click on the link for the PS3 cover):

I know this isn't really the right forum, but I got Infamous second son yesterday but it was a promo copy with no case. I want to buy a blue ps4 game case and print the box art myself. Anyone know where I can get the official box art high res to download?

Got the KOTOR II high resolution logo done. There might be a few minor mistakes, but they can probably be worked out manually or when the image is down-sampled to a usable size. I think I'm going to cut the II out from the background and just use it for KOTOR I as well since there really isn't any high-resolution logos of that game either, though the logos are slightly different.

I actually made that cover for Wii originally, so that's super easy to change to PS2 - assuming you don't want the HD part, right?

Also, this just reminded me that you PM'd me awhile ago asking for that Morrowind text, so here's the Smart Object of it.

Beautiful work on that Okami cover, you are a master of background work. Thanks for both!

Actually, there is a high-resolution logo for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic on Games Press. It's a 2000 x 883 pixel CMYK PSD image at 300 DPI. Problem is I'm using the free version of Games Press which prevents me from downloading certain files, this included. And the JPEG preview features a watermark and isn't of any greater quality.

I haven't heard of that site before, it looks like an amazing resource, too bad its effectively useless for your average user.

Their FAQ even specifically says that they do not want people signing up who are not Journalists.

Do I need to credit Game Press?

No. In fact, we ask you NOT to mention Games Press in your coverage, or include links to us, as this increases the number of registrations from non-journalists we have to filter. If you want to give a source for news or screenshots, please quote the name of the games company or PR agency who supplied the material to us. This appears to the right of all press releases and downloads.

I print them at home on my Inkjet, on Glossy Photo Paper, and it comes out fantastically!
Make sure that when you print though, the paper type is set to Glossy Photo Paper, otherwise you will get vertical lines through the case.

Amazing. Here's hoping my PS4 collection looks something like this.

I bought Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands used and unfortunately they had THIS cover.

Now I just can't have that, so I decided to print out a better one!
Only problem is I forgot to remove the "only on playstation" bit, haha, but aside from that it is so much better now, it's crazy how much of a difference a case can make.

Speaking of cases, I didn't like the Valkryia Chronicles default cover since it had the spider-man font on it, so I changed it up.
I don't remember who made the cover of this though, but it was someone on this thread, so thank you very much for it, it's amazing!

And finally, I decided to print out the Dust An Elysian Tail cover but I also made it a bit more, cover-y, with screenshots and text on the backside of it, and it worked really well!

Here are the images I used for my covers if anyone wants to use them as well.

Also, sorry for the low quality shots, I don't have many options when it comes to taking pictures so I couldn't get any better quality :(

Anyone know if there is a 3D script for the PS4 case yet? I found 3D templates very helpful when making covers for last-gen games.
