Captain Earth Episode 1:

Well, that was actually a rather impressive episode one as this series is combine mecha action with space opera and that soundtrack, that soundtrack is really working for me. Yea, I think this is the first non-Jojo series I have watched this season that I have genuinely enjoyed.

Akuma no Riddle 1

This was complete garbage. The problem with shows like these where they have outlandish and stupid story is when they try to take it far too seriously. A class full of crazy and psycho assassins coming with the complete package of all sorts of pandering, yuri, and dark and sad flashbacks. Not to mention the utterly boring and cold MC. Zero chance of this getting any better.

What I don't get is that Nisekoi kind of follows the same harem stereotypes from what I have seen , childhood friend, tsundere, etc while having the mundane plot progression that plagues this genre but is well liked here and on manga gaf. I guess people can't resist that SHAFT allure

I have no prior knowledge of the material. After seeing the very first first scene of the series, which purported to be a conversation between two characters but was in fact nothing but an excuse to peddle weird incest, I knew that I could safely drop the show and encouraged others to do the same.

I'm just trying to help people out.

It's almost appalling to think that the writer for AgK is the writer for the Maji de watashi ni koishinasai series of VN's. I suppose the years spent writing romcom H-games has permanently screwed up the guy's psyche.

It's fun to watch because it's even more ridiculous Gary Stu to the point it's not even viewer fantasy because, unlike Kirito who happens to be this godly motherfucker for something as dumb as fast reaction time, this guy nobody could ever hope to be.

Most people here have like one show that's considered garbage that they enjoy, which is why it's a shame that all of a sudden we're going to pretend that this is the worst of the worst when again it's supposed to be dumb fun with good action and Gary Stu.

I'll continue to watch because onii-sama is like Batman levels of ridiculous cheese. Sure it's LN trash, but at least it's more like trash food because of the ridiculousness and nobody pretends it's anything else, unlike SAO.

I really have to mention that this series, once it's past the story-dump, basically opens with a scene where a brother and sister are talking and the sister is basically saying how hard she wants her brother to fuck her, why isn't he fucking her right now, and so forth. Except that, as it's an LN, this basically takes the form of the sister talking about amazing the brother is at everything and it features her simpering for affection like an animal. I'm surprised she doesn't die of pleasure when he pats her on the head.

Firehawk would get a kick out of this, I'm sure, as it features sub-SAO quality writing.

decision make sense in context , what she wants is not only to be with madoka but to correct this situation because "love" She love her so much that she took this decision. Not to mention that the incubators threat was there and needed to be fixed too ( i don't belive 1 sec that they wouldn't retry something similar) with someone else or in another situation just to trap madoka again because they are now aware that an existence called madoka exist ( they observed her even if she was human ) ... too dangerous to just accept her fate.

I don't believe this was her plan from the start i believe she resolved herself to do it once kuybei did his thing since turning into a full witch wasn't possible.

They left a pretty obvious opening for one with the ending dialogue about how Madoka might become her enemy and with Madoka beginning to realize that something about that reality was wrong. It'll be interesting to see what the Incubators do when faced with a God that is actively seeking to destroy them.

Also keep in mind that keeping up with a 20 pages weekly manga takes about 5 mins every week. So from a time cost, a lot of people on mangagaf don't see value in dropping bad stuff.

Yeah SHAFT has three amazing shows I enjoy but nothing much else: And Yet The Town Moves, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, and Madoka. I know Monogatari has a huge following here but it doesn't do it for me.

Hmmm any reason not to go for Rurouni Kenshin and Escaflowne ? They seem like the two last "big classic" shows that I need to catch up on. The former especially seems like right up my alley at least as far as the setting goes.

Escaflowne is my suggestion. Be aware theres some melodrama in it but its definitely classic.

Spice and Wolf 1-3

Had some time to start watching this over the past few days. Not fully convinced by all the economics talk and how long it will keep my interest, but the Lawrence and Holo interactions are pretty good and able to carry the show. There is also the whole fluffy tails and ears thing with Holo which is making my heart go doki doki every time she is on screen.

As a fan of wolf girls AND economics this show was right for me but results may vary. The fuwafuwa is there in force though.

Holy crap, Captain Earth was amazing! Of course, it's too early to even know what's going on, but that sure was beautiful! Such stunning visuals and great character design too.

BONES is pretty damn good this year.

Like I said it once already, Mahouka doesn't have incest and theirs a reason why they are so close because it had to do something with their past which is explained later on. And do you really know what incest is because it's where you have a sexual relationship with your relative which is not the case here. Hope that helps.
