I also care about MP3 Support = Custom Soundtracks.

Why? All video sites stream h264 html 5 video, no need for the flash wrapper anymore. Flash won't happen on consoles.

Flash is slowly, but surely, being phased out. I doubt any console will support flash. HTML5 is the future.

A feature I would like is burst mode for screenshots. Then also give the system the ability to create gifs from them.

Yes, but it also does h264 and VP8 (webm) in a html5 video tag.

The game is completely installed anyway, so you are not saving space, just limiting yourself when it comes to having the disc in the tray, and that affects remote play greatly.
A disc is basically a huge USB drive now, so you can save time when it comes to installing instead of downloading a game.
I went from disc only to 50-50 last gen, and now 75-25 in favor of digital purchases.

No i agree. I only have one disc game (AC4) and the rest are all DD (Infamous, BF4, PS+ Collection ). I meant going digital either way will eventually take a toll on the hdd. Im hoping to get a bigger hdd since im heading the same way digitally.

Hopefully this means that my PS4 will finally work with my 30" Dell display.
When/if they add Custom Soundtrack support, it needs to not be as clunky as the Xbox 360. The way I remember was you could only rip CD's, and then those tracks got lumped into 'Unknown Album mm/dd/yy hh:mm:ss' or something along those lines. I want to organize as I see fit, or at least have it grouped based on the metadata info (artist or album).

The new install system allows for saving space though, because if you delete the game data it only takes a couple of minutes to re-install the needed parts before you can play again. Download sizes are much bigger on PS4 while (effective) install times are actually shorter, making it less of a hassle to delete&re-install disc games.

Same with disc based games. They're all installed anyway, bro. I don't resell games, so disc media is less appealing.
I'll just delete the games not in my rotation..

The fact that the PS3 is still a better media box is a bit weird to me. I know the mantra was 'gaming first' but with the bare bones state of the launch os I can't help but think that was code for 'half baked'.
I go back to my PS3 time and time again for the simple things PS4 is missing.

Are you using DTS or Bitstream/PCM sound? I only get stereo under those output modes, but if I choose Dolby Digital, I get 5.1 sound. What I really wish they'd fix is how the video in the PS4 app needs 45 seconds to get up to 1080p and how even then the image is soft and the blacks are crushed.

I've tried every sound option, and tried them using both HDMI and optical. On PS3 and 360 5.1 works fine. I use 360 for Netflix now, but I would rather use PS4 because I think the app (besides the sound) is slightly superior.

what specifically do you mean by sort? the only place i know that has actually ever allowed you to sort was via netflix.com
Launch Netflix app on ps4, then use your smartphone/tablet to search for something and 'airplay' it to the PS4. I rarely use the actual console UI except for play/pause

Well I've started watching some anime again and the site I use won't work on my ps4. Does the ps4 even support html5?

Yes, it supports both mp4 and h264 in the browser.

Player reputation will probably be executed just as bad as on Xbox though. It's just too inviting for trolling/bad losers etc.
Too lazy to write it all, my preferences:
You can start the recording whenever you're ready by double tapping the share button. An icon will appear in the top right to let you know, double tap again to end or once to share right away. Not helpful for spur of the moment stuff but a good tip to know.
Hopefully we'll get all of those features and they are only using this survey as a way to prioritize them. I didn't get the survey but I'd mark very appealing for all of them.
And yeah, that video recording bug needs to be fixed asap as it just plain doesn't work the way it's suppose to. I don't even bother with it anymore since it never has the clip I want.

I would say the Netflix app on PS4 is perfect, except for the fact it doesn't have a 'play from start' option so if you want to start a film again you have to scroll all the way back to the beginning

Nope. It's for games that support it - typically ones that don't have much in the way of music design, like racing games, sports games etc - that lets you listen to your own music in game. The sound is all local, it just replaces the in-game music. You wouldn't want to do it for something like The Last of Us.
