Pretty much day one, I wanted the original Tomodachi and so glad the EU and US finally get a localised version!

One interesting note: the EU vocal synth seems a little more robotic in comparison to the US English which seems to have varied tones in speech. I know British English is a little harder to work with in these these sorts of things, but hope that'll be tweaked a bit more before release.

Here is a better quality one:

And for Europe:

One thing.

Please tell me British and English are separate (looks like NA players miss out in any case, it makes me wonder does that mean you can have Miis speaking different languages or does the whole game have to be just one). Would be a bit weird seeing Americans asking for cups of tea.

"My body is ready" and "Day one" references from the people on the street were pretty good. Day one for me (for my wife) -- she's going to get a huge kick out of this I'm sure.

BatDan

Bane? Get them on board, I'll call it in.
Xenoblade Chronicles? Starfox 64? Super Mario Sunshine? Fire Emblem Awakening? Even Super Metroid (admittedly only one line)

Metroid Prime 3, The Wonderful 101, Kid Icarus Uprising

There's plenty of Nintendo games with voice acting.

Samus' mole is now canon, all is right with the world

The game looks like it has a lot of customization options, I'll definitely enjoy making musical numbers. I wonder if the choreographies can be customized too or if it's just the vocals

US boxart >>> Europe boxart

Maturity, bitches.
Strange they came up with such different logos despite using the same name and yet when they come up with a completely different name like Nintendo Letterbox they make sure the logo is in the same style as the Swapnote one.

Watching the NA direct after the EU one, it would seem British and American English localisations are actually quite different (ie, in the samus affection battle: when Iwata makes his claim the other miis declare;: EU: "No, no!" US "No way!") theres some other differences too.

You know .... looking at the video and reading about the "gay patch" ...

Male pregnancy is by far NOT the most bizarre thing in this game =P

Gosh that European box art looks lame...
Really hoping that the two releases are identical, too. (Apart from the obvious spelling differences)

...hate me...

I guess it's so that there is at least one cohesive element to it.

But it's weird, especially this one. Throwing away free brand strength.

Also, European logo and cover looks poor and stupid  You win this one, 'mericans.

YES! So excited for this! I absolutely loved the original DS Tomodachi Collection, despite not knowing what they were saying at all...it's really hilarious, interesting and addictive to play. The whole atmosphere of the game is just...brilliant.

Day 1.

Yeah, I have no idea how to actually play. Like, what are the actual game mechanics?

You know what, I don't actually care that much. It looks hilarious and that's enough, this time.

There was a glitch that made it so gay relationships would result in pregnancy and it would hard crash the game/corrupt the save. Nintendo patched this out and a lot of sites only reported it as Nintendo stomping out gay interaction.
What, specifically, did Nintendo patch out? The pregnancy or the same-sex relationships?

If it's anything like the first one, it'll be very repetitive, you perform the same tasks over and over. Caring for your residents by feeding them and meeting their needs, receiving gifts and money from them, then observing their interactions. After the initial "setup" period, it's the type of game where you get into the routine of things and you won't play for more than an hour a day, if that. It's not as extensive as something like Animal Crossing. You're just tapping and interacting with them, not directly controlling them.

As long as one keeps their expectations in check, it really is a wonderful, *highly* memorable little game ;)
