The worst thing is, that's not some carefully-created shot where someone tried to get the camera as close to the dog as possible. That screen is from a cutscene where they deliberately zoom in on the dog [!] and all his two-dozen-polygon majesty.

I'm crying from this.

When playing around in Thief, I discovered that if you move about the world while the game is paused, player models will not load in. So you can walk up to an NPC while their in their initial pose and see the base textures =)

Thief has some weird stuff going on. It's a gorgeous looking game, especially the shadows, but then things like that and this happen.

Offtopic, but still pretty great. I can't help but love it.
