Why are strippers at the U.N. bad when they're great at strip clubs???
The numbers are a tad depressing :(

Yokai Watch still holding strong though! Good on you!

I wonder if Yokai Watch has a chance of hitting a million before the sequel is released. Still seems really soon for a sequel though. You would think they might want to hold off until the year end holiday season instead... but I guess Level5's gonna Level5.

3DS gonna drop below 20k this week and possibly even next week. I doubt the Phoenix Wright port or Teatrhythm will change it.

I don't see the issue either. That would be 100k a month, and considering the smaller population that is pretty good I would think. Plus it is not like there is much being released right now to drive sales.

That's bad, according to all the people who's saying Vita's number is still bad.

50k or bust.

And Wii U apparently in free fall mode.

The year of the vita?

seriously tho, japanese gaming is done for

Wii U sales drop is expected, since a decent-selling game came out last week.

3DS sales drop is also expected, since it's still coming off of Mario Party from two weeks ago.

Vita sales stability is expected, since a nice-selling game came out this week.

You can't look at conditional sales increases/decreases and talk about them like they're indicative of long-term trends, haha.

Seriously 3DS is about to reach saturation...
Since the install base is large the replacement alone will keep the numbers afloat, though.

Those who said Japanese gaming collapsed, don't you remember that they having 3% tax increase ffrom 5% to 8% since April? If this is a collapse, I wonder what'll it be when they increased to 10% next year.

WiiU hitting those low numbers again. it's all time low is ~5K isn't it? It's awfully close to that again. Vita's growth is nice, but the 3DS is losing more than it is gaining. I don't think Japan's market will last much longer if there isn't some Wii-esque revival soon.

I remember when the whole vita champion thing was funny.......stinks of fanboy even if it is a joke.

Awful week for hardware sales.

What are you basing that on?

Jeez, the Vita beats the 3DS by a small margin one week, and you all act like it's dead? Need I remind you that this has happened before?

Considering Wii U drop by more than 30% and 2.4k units, a mere 400 drop by PS4 doesn't looks that bad. No PS4 title in top 20 though.

Yo-Kai Watch never cease to impress me.

Surprised the PS4 didin't go below 10k yet

Vita above 3DS is honestly not that surprising imo.

Afaik it was hovering at around ~3k at one point, right before the price cut last year.

Someone had a picture of a limbo-er dancing below the 3k line.

Code:
Jump! Super Stars	261,692
			31,658 (293,350)
			25,619 (318,969)
			18,432 (337,401)

Jump! Ultimate Stars	169,740
			75,810 (245,550)
			59,804 (305,354)
			66,483 (371,837)

J-Stars Victory Vs	209,644
			46,389 (256,033)
			23,441 (279,474)
			12,066 (291,540)

J-Star's legs are shaking. I guess the consumption tax hike was to its benefit. Still, Superstars managed to make it all to way to 549,265, so maybe 350K is within reach.

These are okay sales for Z3 if you add them up.

Interesting to see how the game didn't sell PS3s at all, I guess anyone who wanted the game on PS3 already had one.

Edit: not too great though, SRW Z2 1 was 307k and Z2 2 was 265k.

It's already saturated, since the start of the year it's been in a perpetual decline with slight upticks when a new title comes out.

2DS needed to come out months ago.

I for one welcome the Puzzle and Dragons overlord that will lead Japanese gaming into a new era.

Vita is so weird. Has a console ever been this alive ("alive") and so dead everywhere else? Saturn?
