Looks like all digital PSP / PSone games work on Vita now [Not Anymore]

Owned a Vita for less than a month and haven't lurked much around the various Vita-gaf threads; any good reference points (threads, blogs, whatever) for PSN updates and all that? I've barely looked around the PS Store yet aside from downloading Spelunky and a few demos, I feel way overwhelmed with all of this hahaha

Maybe in Europe, or maybe via PS3 transfer, but I can confirm (and I checked many, many times) that those of us who live in the US and don't own a PS3 were not able to download it until yesterday.

Not to derail the Vita-ness of this thread but the 3D classics by m2 on the 3DS are AMAZING. By far the Sonic and others ports/remakes I have played.

Not really. The game is in HD, 60 fps and controls better since the sticks are better on the consoles than the vita. There is a cross save option, though, so you can always get both if you want.

Identical to the way they were on the PS1 ie terrible. Still, it's a great game and totally playable.

Did a quick glance on my download list through SEN's website and I don't recall downloading Stranger's Wrath to my vita before.

Is it something that was recently added to the Vita or has it always been compatible?
I'm not complaining though.

Strager's Wrath HD was released on Vita. 12-18-2012

Browsing over 1300 items in my download list looking for PSP2 is a god damn nightmare... I want to trigger download on my PS3 via the web store so I can transfer to my Vita when I get home...

So glad they ended up making everything compatible. I never expected them to do it and to be honest they could have gotten away with not doing it.

Started playing Crash 2 and man, the Vita d-pad is not great for these kinds of games :(. Had similar issues playing Mega Man Maverick Hunter X a year ago.

I wish they put some of the PSP games on sale for like $5, 'cause I would buy a shit ton of them.

Like Wipeout Pure/Pulse, Gran Turismo, Peace Walker, Socom, etc.

Why did Sega take down PSO2? Why take down something unless it's a licensing issue like Capcom/Mahvel?

They never put the first game on PSN, so if I want to play PSO it's demo or nothing. Pretty lame, Sega.

PSP2 != PSO2
PSP2 is Phantasy Star Portable 2 which is based on the Phantasy Star Universe... Universe

PSO2 aka Phantasy Star Online 2 has yet to come to North America at all on either PC, Vita, or Mobile

Sega has been hating money since forever. Really tempted to just buy the umd for PSP1.

A few questions:

- Force Unleashed or Battlefront 2?

- Should I bother with Portable Ops if I LOVED Peace Walker and might have a tough time going to a game that (I've heard) isn't nearly in the same league as PW.

- Anyone have a list of PSP games that are much better with Vita's second stick capability? I've already mentioned PW which now controls like a dream. Any other PSP games that I should check out?

I don't see the issue. i turn on my Vita. There are pages filled with apps. I click on one and play.

I can't find the Tetris Mini on the Vita store, PS3 store or SEN website. Is it one of those cases where you need to have already bought it in the past in order to get hold of it now?
