I think any important information about MGS is coming at E3.

You realize if last gen versions were being worked on alongside current gen versions, cancelling last gen versions and redesigning the next gen versions would mean a lengthy delay right? Which means more money spent, and money wasted. Also something to consider, who is the target audience for a Metal Gear Solid game? Metal Gear Solid fans right? Do some of you really think people are going to skip out on this due to some sort of made up next gen scale?
"Wow, these textures aren't amazing, and none of the outfits are affected by sweat. I think I'm going to wait another 5 years for the next Metal Gear game, this one doesn't seem next gen enough."
Some of the highest selling current gen games at this point are cross gen titles, both in retail and digitally. This imaginary next gen metric doesn't mean jack shit to the majority of the market, something looks neat and fun? Does it have a prestigious history? Sales.

That post seems angry or flustered to you? I offered an argument to the typical cancellation requests that plague every single MGS V thread. My argument is pretty simple and isn't venous in any way.
Can you post your expectations and what would change with last gen cancellations?
I'm pretty sure it is but I don't think anything has ever been mentioned about it ever. Certainly not for ground zeroes.
I know, I'm kidding. I know the game won't be cancelled on last gen since it was originally developed on it. It's just annoying that this game was developed for current gen in mind to begin with. Here in the US at least 204k of the 270k retail copies were sold on current gen.
