I bought mgs: portable ops the other day, but didn't dl it to the vita yet. Fuck me. I still have a ps3, so hopefully I can somehow transfer it from there.
When I checked the store on my Vita, I searched for Crash and couldn't find any of them. I could only find them via my download list.
According to the US Playstation site, you can still buy Brave Story via download as well (the link takes you to the store page with the game unavalible for sale)
I don't think they even bother keeping that site updated
I don't knwo where to ask this, does Vita TV support multiple accounts?
This is kind of my perspective on the matter.
- There was no announcement about these titles coming. Zero advertising.
- The games weren't viewable from the Vita's SEN store directly.
- The games weren't able to be copied from a PS3 over to a Vita.
- The PS Blog post for the weekly store update didn't aknowledge their existence.
- Direct tweets to people at Sony resulted in radio silence, aside from Yosp who seemed genuinely surprised.
- The only way to get them copied over was via a workaround we uncovered and exploited on GAF.

The amount of entitlement here is insane. It was a glitch, meant to NEVER happen.

I think consumers are entitled to some goddamn communication at the very least. I mean, it sucks that the feature was taken away, but they should be talking to Vita users.
I would understand if this had to do with distribution rights, but clearly it isn't the case since games like GT Portable are involved.
Shameful lack of communication from Sony and shady policies for unknown reasons.
"hey look, gamers want this, people are willing to spend money to buy older games, shall we work things out?"

That game has a billion car licenses to deal with, and they probably only licensed them for use on PSP. It's probably why Gran Turismo 1 and 2 never came out as PS1 classics even though they were Sony games and among the most popular titles on PSX

god damn, i wanted to play all the crash / spyro games on the go..............
Is it possible that it was an E3 surprise that got turned on early by accident?

1) Get a second / blank Vita memory card
2) Create a UK PSN account and login to that on your vita with that new card
3) Buy £ PSN codes from Amazon.co.uk
4) Login to the UK PSN store and buy the games
Swap to this card if you want to play those on the go - stick with your other card if you want to play on your US tag.
Question - I know some of the titles were available for the EU before but I assume no one has a list ?
I'm pretty sure that Pac-Man CE was *not* compatible before - but it was changed to show as compatible and here in the UK its still showing as available for the Vita
I know not all titles are like this as Burnout yesterday showed PSP / PS Vita on the store and now shows PSP only
People will defend anything on gaf.. Wow...
There really isn't an argument against the defense other than people being ignorantly bitter, though
There are reports that there was a Crash Bandicoot banner on the Vita store the week before the glitch. This led to people suggesting the glitch was on purpose and we all should have known and purchased the games during the flash sale.
The fact that nothing was announced or acknowledged by Sony themselves says it all. You couldn't legitimately buy the games directly through the Vita either. They payed for the games full knowing that this was not an official policy or update or whatever you want to call it. The games aren't taken away, just the method and system that was used as a work-around to get these games.Look at the banners, the website and everything else. They were listed for PSvita and not everyone goes through every little bit of these topics to ha e thought it was a glitch. To call someone entitled for that is just plain wrong and its honestly weird to see people defending a company like that. Some people legitimately played for games and just had those games taken away, but hey I must be entitled since I should've known it was a glitch.
I really enjoy my Sony systems, but sometimes they make huge mistakes, it doesn't mean you need to go blaming it on other people and calling them entitled just because you assume everyone is digging and reading every topic. I'm pretty sure Sony will right everything in the end whether that's refunds or putting the games back up, but to call people entitled over this... Is just wrong.
The web store listed all this software as Vita compatible. Anyone who bought these games for play on Vita under those pretenses is entitled to a refund. To argue against that is being willfully obtuse and a corporate apologist.

So... was In The Hunt delisted from PSN?
Or maybe it being available in the first place was just a fever dream of mine.

No good news for months, huh.Vita has no good news for months and then this happens. People get excited about the Vita again and start buying games - even if they are PS1/PSP games. You think Sony would be happy about it. Nope. They kill it. Hopefully they enable it again soon.y
I had no idea so many people wanted to own a PSP Go until this thread.
good news!
i know, i know, it's not a vita.
There's a reason why Grace Chen time is a thing for SCEA... and isn't a thing for every other gaming company on the face of the Earth (including SCEE and SCEJ).How did this take like three days before being resolved?
Are all employees at Sony busy smoking crack instead of doing any work? Seems that way.
