That's ok we still have 1080 60fps forza..... Now drive club.....
Lol, it always goes back to Forza, doesn't it?
Why don't these people address the fact that 80-90% of Xbone games run at lower than 1080p resolution?

No deal with Assassin's Creed.
You're missing my point. Exclusive games are one thing. If a game is exclusive to your platform, then yes, of course you advertise it as an exclusive. That's completely understandable.
The issue we're talking about here is putting a logo at the end of a multiplatform game's commercial to mislead ignorant consumers into thinking the game is exclusive.
Of the top of my head, I believe, we never saw Ghosts run on a PS4 pre-launch either (There's a huge likelyness of my memory failing me though). Why would they opt to show their worst version as the first major reveal for the game though? Either they'll gimp the PS4 version or they'll never show it prelaunch I'm guessing.

The original Assassin's Creed was revealed as a PS3 game, they couldn't even mention the Xbox 360 version for a long time. I remember people thinking it was exclusive for the longest time. You don't think that's misleading?
I understand that some people try to make MS out to be the villain here, but Sony's no saint. It's just business.
Was there any press release, or is it just amazon UK we're going off of for platforms? Amazon can safely assume PS4bonePS360PC. WiiU isn't as safe an assumption to make obviously.
I'm leaning towards expecting it to come to Wii U. Probably from the same small dedicated Wii U team at Treyarch. Having done so two years in a few, it'll probably be easy enough for them to shit out a Wii U port for modest cost. Obviously whenever crossgen dries up that'll be it (unless a miracle happens with Smash/MK8, and even then..).

Game has been in development for years dude. They didn't have time to copy Titanfall. Besides the game looks nothing like Titanfall. This isn't Syfy and there's no titans....the only similarity is better mobility but even that is different. There's no double jump in the his game as far as I'm aware.I like Kevin Spacey.
But, I'm fairly amazed that COD immediately ripped off Titanfall Parkour. I guess they really thought it would be the new hot thing?
And, sorry, but that suit just reminds me of this:
G.I. Joe "Accelerator Suit". Lovely.

Wasn't there that whole thing it was only shown on ps4 and then everyone started going nuts?
If money can get you websites like IGN to mislead their readers about the platforms, couldn't MS just pay some $$$ for a PS4 version that's the same resolution?

I recall it starting with MW2 and GTAIV on the 360. Sony only first started following suit with BF3 in 2011, and now Destiny/Watch_Dogs, etc.

I can't possibly imagine how they will shake up the multiplayer enough to get me interested after Titanfall, but maybe we can get a good single player campaign out of this.

To be fair, it actually seems like Sony is the one doing it more this generation (a lot more). Watch_Dogs, Destiny, ACIV, and others.
I forgot about Assassin's Creed, and its PS3 reveal. I stand corrected.

80-90%? Yeah, that's some bullshit lies there.
You think I'm lying? Let's make a list, and create a tally of all the Xbone games that have come out so far that are actually are native 1080p.
Yeah right, bunch of lierssssss!!! Hehe"All next-gen development cycle". Game is cross-gen. Hmm.
Too bad Kevin Spacey is a chickenhawk predator who likes his boys young. Can't really enjoy him knowing that.

It's not about which version is actually running, since they will both look exactly the same on shitty compressed online videos. It's all about that line that precedes the video "Footage captured on an Xbox One", being pretty good marketing for them.

Maybe so, to most people. Someone will get a decent pixel count of it soon enough and then the sub 1080p res will leak.
I'm sure everyone knows by now that Call Of Duty is also on Playstation.
Now the Thread derailed to a Xone X ps4 resolution war... Come on
lol. Where did you copy that from?
Too bad Kevin Spacey is a chickenhawk predator who likes his boys young. Can't really enjoy him knowing that.
It's my list. Been compiling once resolutions and frame-rates are confirmed.
Please don't tell me they'll hide the Wii U version and will announce it months after the reveal, AGAIN?
If there is indeed a Wii U version, it'll be the 3rd time, I call that moneyhat.
Which house do you fight for?
It is odd because in the opening segment the AA looks really good, but then as you say in other parts it looks weak. The amount of aliasing in some segments is very telling that currently this game is not running in 1080p all the time. Pics are from gamersyde HQ video, and it looks worse in motion than on stills [very noticeable aliasing shimmer]:
But OK, it's still early.

Console wars are serious business. It's my list. Been compiling once resolutions and frame-rates are confirmed.
Definitely not everyone. Most or all hardcore gamers and Gaffers know it's not exclusive. Maybe a large majority of semi-casual COD-bros know. But there are reasons COD has consistently sold more on Xbox than PS for the past 5+ years. Yes, the Xbox fanbase is arguably more FPS-centric, but marketing is also an influencing force. Mommy or daddy looking to buy an Xmas present for their kid just sees the latest COD commercial, and assumes it's an Xbox game.
There's no moneyhat involved. Activision forgets that Treyarch exists until about a week before release. Please don't tell me they'll hide the Wii U version and will announce it months after the reveal, AGAIN?
