I guess you could buy a Us to Eu power adapter? That should do the trick.
No, that would fry his xbox's power brick since it runs off of 115v. He needs to get a 220v power brick.

You are the first person who I saw had more GS than I did.
What the hell!
Since I can't post a new thread, I'll just put this here and someone will hopefully awnser it.
Long story short, I won't an xbox one from a contest, an american contest. Thing is, I'm from europe and the xbox one is an american one.
How do I get this thing going? I don't wan't to fry shit, since there is a voltage difference.
What do I have to do? Do I have to replace the american power brick with a european one or what?

Can you still get PSU from here?
http://myservice.xbox.com/
Reason I ask is I can't visit the site on mobile, people have said they have managed to get a PSU from that site.
Hard drives fail. The hassle of sending in your machine for a repair and probably losing the data is larger than transfering it while you're multitasking.
Space isn't the only thing either. You can get a HD from a better manufacturer, increase the RPM, and even go for a Hybrid SSHD or SSD.
It shouldn't be one or the other. External has its benefis, but they do not completely replace or outweigh internal upgrading.
Sony can easily add external support and I hope they do. And I hope MS adds the ability to replace the internal drive in the future.

Give me the ability to play my physically bought games without a disc. That was the best feature before everyone complained. Ability to get deals from anywhere and make the title digital. Now if you want a digital game you only have one store to choose from and they have horrible deals.
Q: Can I use the external storage device for music and video playback?
A: No. For the initial release of the external storage feature, media files, including music and videos, are not supported. We are considering this for a future release.
One more interesting info from the official FAQ:
soul creator said:You must be a delusional fanboy or a paid shill, because those are the only people who would have any reason to prefer the old plans.
Also, MS secretly controls every retailer's inventory in existence, so if their plans went through, every retail game would have stayed $60 for all of time, and never have a price drop. Hell, they would've raised the price to $80! Anyone who thinks they'd be able to get retail games cheaper under the old plans is also clearly a fanboy or paid shill. Thankfully, we were saved from such a harsh existence.

Weird. That seems more like things that normally would go on external footage since there's no sort of DRM stuff attached.
Who will be using real name sharing? If you're my friend on Live I have no issue sharing my name.
Yep, sad that it got axed.
It'll probably be out of warranty by the time it fails. You'll be incurring a cost for an inferior hard drive. If your HDD fails, you WANT to send it in to the manufacturer for a warranty replacement, makes no sense to incur the charges. Also if your HDD fails, you will lose the data whether you have the ability to replace or not, I'm not sure where you're trying to find a benefit there. It's not a comparison buddy, simply saying that Sony should also offer external drive support because its so convenient and actually better than pulling out 500GB of already existing data, then to stuff all that data in the new drive as opposed to having a fresh and full 1TB free. Bringing it to your friends house is also pretty awesome.
Personally, if I had to pick between the 2, replaceable internal HDD vs external drive support, I would go with the latter. Over the life of the console I could have several drives stuffed with games and just pop them in at my leisure, but of course, why not both?
