Lots of great games shown at the conference. A little disappointed with all the CG trailers for the newer titles. Would have loved to see gameplay from the next Tomb Raider and Crackdown.

Expected some surprises due to the steady stream of info over the last month but really nothing we didn't already know other than confirming a few rumors (Fable, Halo Master Chief ed, Phantom Dust, and Crackdown).

The amount of pure assholes in this thread is unbelievable.

It was literally non stop games from start to end.

I can pretty much guarantee Sony won't do that because they never have. They will talk about sales figures, media nonsense and all sorts of stuff that no one cares about. They will also show off games that are nowhere near to being released and possibly never will be.

7/10 solid show that lacked the surprises or big megatons. But their fall lineup looks better than Sonys atm. Big focus on multiplatform stuff when it was assumed that Sony would be the only ones relying on it.

yea games games games that are also on PS4 and PC. It was average. Couple of neat exclusives but you don't start with COD, you start strong with a bomb, I dunno. More of the same IMO, at least Sunset Overdrive looks amazing and Scalebound has potential. But why show Assassin's Creed Unity, COD, Witcher and others if you know your competition is also getting them? Focus on exclusives. PS4 has more raw power than Xbox One, so showing multiplatform titles really does not sell the console.

Sunset Overdrive and Ori really interest me, Project Spark looks pretty good, and I really want The Division. Still probably won't get an Xbox One, but I can't fault anyone for doing so with the lineup announced so far.

Hoping Sony brings the big guns this evening.

To echo what everyone already said, I thought the Xbox conference was good but there was way too many CGI trailers, which are pretty much useless outside of announcing the logo for the game. Gameplay trailers please!

Also, they didn't say "TV" or "kinect" once so at least they're learning.

Too many games we already knew about.

The only 2 I was excited for were Ori and Inside.

Way too many shooters (I hate them).

Overall Grade: C

I really expected them to port Gears Of War 3 multiplayer to the Xbox One.

Sunset Overdrive looked okay I guess but overall won't be buying an Xbox One again for a very very long time by the looks of things. Ori did look great too but need to see more.

It was nice to have them cover the third party stuff though so it was interesting thanks to that, first party however....

The fact they mentioned Conker and 'make your own game' was a bit sad.

I wanted MS to bring guns, they bought the pee shooters here. Really boring. Only 3rd party games wowed me and those are available everywhere.

Alright, I don't feel their conference. Solid, but nothing extraordinary. We'll see how Sony fare then, and I'm not very optimistic about Sony's event either. Hopefully, the third party pubs will deliver this year.

7.0/10

A lot of CGI that annoys me ( pls SONY don't do this)
Nothing I felt I want to play right now, FH2 looks good though.
Sunset overdrive looks fun... for like an hour.
Fable looks meh.

Again CGI so won't comment on the other games since I doubt it will be like that in game.
Thought Crackdown was mediocre at best on the 360 and this trailer ( cgi) didn't really do much for me. Still will keep an eye on it since it is open world, as a finale announcement was a bit of a let-down.

Some cool games, but there was nothing really special. A bit save and nothing that shocked the world. Most of those games we already know or the rumour where strong about them...

I think Sony can do it better.....

Eh... Most of the games were revealed last year and the new stuff was all rumoured/leaked beforehand, so it wasn't that interesting. They showed good stuff, but I didn't get any sense of hype.

And really, showing a CG trailer for a Platinum game? Come on, that's rubbish.

I'd give it a 7/10.

They were very confident, very smooth, there was far too many CGI trailers though, and several of the 'big' games coming to their system did nothing for me personally.

But yeah, not bad.

Despite some good looking games, the ones I was interested in were all multi-platform. Halo was exciting with some of it's features but it needed something else to get me to drop money for an xbox.
Inside, Ori, Assassin's Creed and Call of Duty all looked pretty great. And excited for Tomb Raider.

Chance to last years, where they were trying to cater to new customers, this one felt like doubling down on the XBox brand. A little to much for my liking, but could see it work if you were already on-board for the earlier two systems.

Having sad that, they had an awful lot of games and Sunset (if they could speed it up a fraction, gameplay) and Witcher 3 are the ones that stood out for me.

No gears, EA and QB was surprising.

Really good conference overall, even if their weren't any bombs dropped for me. They still showed a lot of games that I would be interested in playing.

I'll give them a "B" for lots of games shown, but not necessarily showing anything that shocked me.

Solid conference, some good stuff announced. Master chief collection is godly and Sunset Overdrive looks like a lot of fun. Ori looks absolutely beautiful.

First tragedy, then farce.
Solid.

No surprises.. but then again all of those were leaked earlier this year.

Anyone still think nktrnl was controlled?

That would have probably been a 9/10 conference for most had most of that not already been anticipated.

Still, CG or not, the fact that Crackdown and PD are back is enough for me. Platinum Game is Platinum so that's going to be on my radar.

Other than that, I left wanting games I already wanted.

Fucking horrible conference. I fear for Sony/Nintendo.

Call of Duty - More of the same, this shit looks horrible.
Forza - Nurburgring made me excited as a little girl
Assassins Creed - Fuck this series
Dragon Age - Hell yes
Sunset Overdrive - Yet another shit game made by Insomniac that will sell approx 2 copies
Dead Rising - I liked it
Disney Fantasia - ...
Fable - Gameplay looks solid. Art does not, as usual when it comes to this series
Ori - FUCK YES THIS LOOKS SO GOOD
Halo Collection - VERY nice for both old and new fans of Halo
Inside - FUCK YES THIS LOOKS SO GOOD LIMBO WAS FUCKING AMAZING
Witcher 3 - Looks good
Phantom Dust - Ugh
The Division - Downgrade?
Scalebound - No one would give a shit if this wasn't Kamiya. It'll sell 4 copies. Need more gameplay footage
Crackdown - I'm glad Crackdown fans got what they wanted!

Overall: 2/10. Horrible. Good pacing though.

I'll be nice and give em a B-.They showed some cool stuff mainly Sunset overdrive, and the overall format of the conference was good. Not really enough exclusive megatons and too many cgi trailers though.

Great show 8/10.

The first hour was mosty a regurgitation of what we've already seen (pacing was great though). Also, too much of it was CG...

There was a ton of GCI, but it's better to have one that shows the title and roughly what it's about then nothing at all.
Also, it was all games, no bullshit. That's not usual at E3. It's obvious some users here have the memory of a fly, but there were quite some conferences that had a lot of unnecessary boring talk about sales and how they compete.

I give it a 8.5/10. I will not buy an XBONE because of their behaviour last year and the shit they pulled on the 360, but I like their efforts.

Pretty good conference, but a lot of CG. Master Chief collection was the thing that made me want an Xbox One the most. Everything else was either multiplatform, or--since I'm not an invested Xbox owner and thus don't care too much about it's past titles--not of interest to me. Which is good, 'cause I really don't have the cash for an Xbox One.

The Platinum Games game should be neat to keep an eye on though.

Well after all that for me best thing was Inside. The trailer for Tomb Raider got me pretty hyped and the COD gameplay was surprisingly good.

Good presser MS! IMO we didn't get any bombastic megatons since we already knew pretty much everything that they had planned (I bet the Sony presser will be the same) but it still was one of the best E3 press conferences that I have ever seen when it comes to games.

I gotta say I came into this generation certain that I would only buy a PS4 and a WiiU but MS made me change my mind.

I won't be getting a Xbone right now since the exclusives I'm interested (Quantum Break, platinum game and Massive Chalice???) are still ways off, but I'm pretty sure I'll be getting one eventually, probably next year.

It was a great mix of first and third party support, good work MS!

If you want me to buy a Bone right now just announce even without any details that eventually we'll be getting a new Alan Wake game!

Meh Ill give it a 7/10 they didnt really show anything that would force me to buy a Bone this year. But again, ill wait to see what Phantom Dust and Scalebound is all about then ill think about it next year.

Id give it a 6/10.

Personally my takeaway from the show is the DR3 DLC and crackdown. When conker was displayed I got pumped, i thought they drop a all new conker game but just a camo.

Mostly everything else can be played on the PS4. It was nice they empathized games and dedicated severs instead of "the cloud".

Basically this, as a PS4 owner i couldn't help but think "this will run better on PS4" a lot during the conference.

Sunset Overdrive was cool, most of the 2015 and later stuff looks too early, like they decided to put a bunch of CGI stuff out of their asses to hook people on the promise of a bright future lineup. Most CG i've seen in a conference in almost 10 years.
True!
What the hell with all the CG crap? Devs/Publishers should stop with the CG stuff in this era of gaming.

Overall: Solid C for the MS Conference

Phil Spencer way overhyped his conference.
It was nothing special.

Did nothing but affirm I made the right decision in buying a PS4 to be honest.

Only two notable exclusives announced. Crackdown, a sequel to a pretty decent game that was fun for a weekend rental, and Scalebound, of which there wasn't enough shown but Platinum have a decent track record.

Regardless I wouldn't buy a console for either. Try again this time next year I guess. At least they'll have some Halo 5 gameplay footage to show by then.
