I know during the press conference people were pointing it is another white guy, but from the name and
spreading mother's ashes part
doesn't sound like it is a white guy.

What language are they speaking at the beginning? I caught a few words that sounded like Hindi

It is Hindi. Place is like a mishmash of India, Bhutan and Nepal

That's as white as it gets

Ajay Ghale doesn't sound white and he is returning to his place of birth.

I think the story and bad guy looks pretty cool in FC4, its like a cross between the bad guy from james bond skyfall, tom cruise in interview with a vampire and Derek Foreal in Blow.

He is particular about getting blood on his shoes but he isn't worried about blood born pathogens? In a third world country??? I'd be worried. Not every place has most of the population vaccinated.

I now this trailer focuses on the villain, but I think he will end up stealing the show. Great voice work by Troy Baker(?) apparently.

But that Vaas tho...
The scenes he was in were amazing, but there weren't really that many of them. Sometimes that can make them better, but in the case of Vaas he was just pure underutilized.

Still a top gaming villain, but boy is he ever some unfulfilled potential. I feel like the writer didn't actually expect Vaas to be as important and cool of a character as he turned out, and I attribute that to the exceptional performance of Michael Mando.

Ubisoft learned that the best thing that Far Cry 3 had was Vaas. The new over the top villain is sticking around until the end.

I actually didn't think Vaas was a good villain. HIs voice actor was great, and he had a fairly unique design, but the actual writing behind him? Pretty terrible. He just spouted a bunch of curse words and repetitive, inane, pseudo-psychological drivel.

I'm going to miss being terrified of shark attacks.

I'm looking forward to this but I wouldn't have minded another tropical setting.

EDIT: Aw hell naw, did they get rid of the bow? I felt like a badass with that thing in Far Cry 3. Glad the wing suit is back, and the driving takedowns look cool.
