May have only been a teaser as such but like the sound of breaking up the traditional Zelda flow. Building on the changes from A Link Between Worlds and looking gorgeous so far as well.

So it looks like they've gone back to the series' roots with the open world, explore & discover things on your own structure. Less linearity.

I like it.

I'm not a Nintendo fan but... WOW!!!!!

I was literally having a hard time breathing. I just can't believe it, it looks so amazing. The beautiful open world, I just can't....

Art style looks like the other side of what SS was, which would be kind of a mix of TP and WW, but this favors more of TP. I'm pretty happy with that.

I'm guessing what Link was wearing isn't going to be overtaking the green tunic and hat right?

Can't wait to see some gameplay next year and the inevitable delay.

The way they're speaking about it leaves me optimistic, but, like all games, it's wait and see.

So what exactly does this mean? Yea, there is a giant contiguous overworld but what they showed didn't exactly stand out from something like Wind Waker's giant (empty) overworld.

The talk about approaching puzzles from different directions is interesting but they way he talked about having a overworld like that forces you to approach puzzle design differently isn't really true. In a sense, all the 2D Zelda games have puzzles embedded within a sizable overworld but the puzzles have one particular direction and solution.

Looks great but I'm very skeptical about any claims of open worldness. I've been disappointed by Zelda enough times that I would expect it to be dramatically smaller and more constrained than it appears.

God damn!
I have the same complaint I have about the Uncharted tease(All we know is that a pretty Zelda is coming out in 2015), but man that looks freakin' gorgeous.

No offense but you are all accepting this will be the game that releases.

You would have all said the same at the first footage (of the completely different visual style) Zelda shown at the previous E3.

May as well be labelled with the rest of E3's 'concepts' really.

The "completely different" Zelda wasn't ever presented as an actual game though.

You're making a poor analogy.

I did not expect that kind of ennemy/destruction at all. So good.

Reminds me of the fight at the end of The Incredible.

Can people please stop saying "hey, you see those mountains? You can go there" when they show off an open world game now? We know you can go there, this is far from being the first game that lets you do that.

Don't worry, I'll vouch for them.
I love the mix of styles. Basically if Wind Waker and Twilight Princess fucked and this is their offspring.

A "small" open world is fine by me. Zelda doesn't need an Elder Scrolls or GTA sized world.

The game looks ugly as hell to me, I hate this fucking art style and I hate open world stuff.

So I'll be skipping this Zelda. I never thought I'd see it where I was more excited for a spin off then the main game.

Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much

That previous Wii U Zelda concept was never intended to lead to a game. It was a graphics demo.

Today's unveiling is the actual Zelda U. This game has been worked on for some time, it's not a concept. This game is coming next year.

I am not really feeling the cell shaded / windwaker type characters, but it may grow on me.

That's the first thing I thought. Wonder if they chose this route because of hardware limitation. Still plenty of time in development so hopefully things iron out.

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
Looked absolutely incredible. I'm intrigued about the open world aspect.

Ugh, Link Between Worlds Link? Nooooo.

I bet he's still right handed too, :(.

Oh well, will probably buy anyway because I'm a weak willed son of a bitch.
