Jesus those animations... reminds me of the demon boar in Mononoke, at the start of the movie.
Yeah major Mononoke vibes.

Looks absolutely phenomenal. Love the art style and open-world talk. Don't understand the hate for the character model either. Getting some Last Air Bender vibes from it. Enjoy them taking Link in a new direction. Definitely looks more feminine and I did wonder if it was a girl as well. Kinda hope it is. Would be a cool twist on the traditional formula. Regardless, so incredibly pumped.

Can't wait to hear more.

Definitely a girl.

It's so obviously a chick.

1 - They hid her face the entire time until the last second.
2 - She has a god damn ponytail
3 - Very feminine Face, and body
4 - The camera angles they used purposely protecting showing clear looks at her face
5 - SHE LOOKS LIKE A GOD DAMN GIRL hype

Looks incredible, but man what a delusion: no title, no gameplay video or info, and 99% the game won't look like this while playing.
So much for a title that was originally planned to be revealed last year...

I hope i'll get to eat crowd :/

My body was nowhere near prepared for this.
It looks beautiful!
I think this is the PERFECT artstyle for Zelda.

That's definitely a good direction! I just hope the WiiU can achieve something not too messy iq wise with this kindof scope. I loved how Aonuma talked about how old zelda games had this sense of a coherent linked world and 3D zelda killed that somewhat.

i absolutely wasn't expecting actual skyrim influence with an open world. I laughed off the idea every time a GAF member brought it up.

Looks neat.

WOW different from what I was expecting but awesome! I cannot wait until we get some more info about it.

You are able to travel to where ever you see, even the mountains in the distance. Particle, and fire effects were absolutely stunning.

The game looks amazing but

I just hate the way Link looks in this.

Wish he looked similar to the Hyrule Warriors version.

You guys do remember that they debuted Zelda when they revealed the Wii-U and it turned out to be vaporware, right?

And now they show off a few seconds of a scripted open world Zelda game and everyone freaks out again.

Where is the actual gameplay? Who is to say this is even real?

And this makes Nintendo win E3? Seriously?

(I am totally buying a Wii-U next year, and would LOVE for this Zelda game to be the real deal but I am at this point highly skeptical)

Based on Aonuma's comments the overworld is put together in a clever, puzzly way not immersive bullshit like Skyrim. The main point of this footage is the artstyle, it's very Nintendo and appealing, not the boring TP / realistic style.

Are you retarded? The first footage was said to be a target render or tech demo. Whatever you want to call it. It was just a view into what it might look like. What they showed today is the from the real game and is what it will look like.

You guys are loving the graphics, but I'm already enamoured when Anouma mentioned that their goal is to make the world as explorable as the 2D Zeldas. 2D Zelda exploration in a 3D Zelda? :swoon

They should have waited for next years E3, or the first Direct of 2015 to show it off. They didn't even show gameplay for fucks sake.

This remainded me a lot of Ni No Kuni.

am I the only one, this is very much Ni-no-Kuni PS3 art style and beauty, will probably look better becasue nintendo is nintendo but I expect that and nothing else.

link has always looked somewhat feminine

I'll start drinking the kool-aid when you start showing gameplay, Nintendo. Not getting hyped yet.

That said, console Zelda's are my favorite brand of games and I'll be there day one

Absolutely beautiful. Can't wait. Also, I don't think Link looks like a girl. To me it's more of a slender, effeminate anime styled young man. But if it is a girl and this is some sort of gender-reversed take on the franchise then I'm perfectly fine with that too.

Will be getting a Wii U for this. Yep. Is it possible that it will actually look this good though? I mean, it looks amazing with all that grass and shit. Could the Wii U really handle that?

Whatever I was expecting...this looks way better. This could be the best Zelda ever made.
I'd also love to see what other art styles they experimented with.
