Aren't small changes like these reasonable to expect since the leak was a couple months ago? I feel like we should consider the number of things which were correct, unless everything else could have been gleamed from KI:U models or the Brawl AT. I'm not sure how closely those match the SSB4 model.
Sakurai is going to drag in a big ass Ridley amiibo onto the stage.

I really doubt the character select screen's aesthetics/design will change much at all. The amount of characters on the select screen itself will change and form as you unlock characters (that's sort of a given...)
The CSS background probably changes color when you select a character like in Brawl. So it probably is a sort of pale white background until you select a character.

Maybe, but these were the differences pointed out when the leak was first revealed to give reasons as to why it could be fake. Would be odd they they made the model different from pre existing models and then changed it to look like those pre existing models later.
I can see that, but we're talking details of a model that is almost identical guys. Easiest explanation is that it was slightly changed in these months.

You do often see what could be presumed to be fanservice. You should really include Awakening on that list. But you know, this is still Nintendo. If anybody asked them about the fanservice, would they say something like "Oh, that's not fanservice, that's not our style"?

You know 3D models of Palutena already exist to reference, i.e. a certain 3DS game. I mean that's what we used when we originally debated this. It's not that shocking that they were close, but the differences with the leaked model and the KIU model are basically the same difference with the leaked model and the Smash model i.e. it's odd that an early model didn't just look like a ported model which you'd actually expect. In some ways the differences are its undoing. And yes, we have seen people make their own 3DS models, why is that surprising?
