You know, I didn't know how much I wanted Lucina in this game until I saw her in the game.
To be honest I might not be totally irate that Isaac won't be in now that I have the amazing Lucina.
She looks fantastic and if she is a faster version of Marth I will swoon.

Looking at a bit closer I'd say for Robin's moves, Thunder and its variations are a chargeable standard B, Elwind is the up b, Arcfire is the side b, Levin Sword is summoned with Down B and Nosferatu is the grab attack

I wonder if Robin's magic tome use get reset upon death or does it apply over the course of the match. If its upon death then it isn't really a big deal but if it applies the whole match that might change people's playstyles.
As a fan of both, I agree.
I want to believe that there was something more elaborate behind the scenes, with what the 99% confidence that the Monolith Guys retweeting and whatnot.
These past three days have certainly been very fun.
I thought that was so funny HAHA. The trailer itself was like "Right right Chr- wha-huh Lucina?"

What's up with so many of the new women's faces? Lucina and Palutena especially are really inexpressive and off putting. They look really unfinished, and maybe that's because they are, but why would they be in such a rough state this far into development?

Probably because the developers believed she was unexpected. As in "What? Lucina?! But we already have Marth, no way!"

This is what gets me. It seems like he is definitely referencing the leak. Why did the Xenoblade writer tweet this particular announcement if Shulk wasn't in it? It seems like misdirection.
The trailer start with Chrom on the ground already knocked out. He can't even get up at the end and says how maybe next time is his chance. Why the focus on Chrom being completely out unless it was directed at the leak.
Then the leaker sends an e-mail the night before assuring the a specific character will be revealed adding to the Shulk confirmation. Why this trailer does he go all in.
As insane as this sounds it's seem there is too much evidence that Sakurai knows what was leaked and is going against it.
Most of them look better on 3DS compared to Wii U, so perhaps development time is an issue. Either they'll be polished up a little before the console release, or be thrown on the jank pile with Link and Fox. Either way, it shouldn't be too noticeable in actual matches.

I almost have to wonder if Sakurai deliberately mislead everyone into thinking it was Shulk (even if that means secretly being the leaker, telling the Xenoblade devs to retweet the announcement, etc.), and the "?!" was deliberately there to refer to everyone's defied expectations.
