The fighting escalated and we gained a deeper insight to Nishimiya's character.

The next chapter should be interesting

The Thief and the Jewel Girl

A girl capable of creating jewels from flowers is stolen by a thief who decides to help her search for a missing person.

A fantasy shoujo oneshot. Not bad, kinda predictable though.

Question to Manga-GAF: How good is Dr. Slump?

I read a good portion of it a while back and thought it was hilarious and awesome, even better and more funny than early Dragonball. So I'm thinking, hell I love Dragonball why not try to collect Dr. Slump? Are the Viz printed versions alright or do they fuck up stuff?

Relatively new serialisation: コーポ失楽园 aka Corpo Shitsurakuen by 五十岚正邦

A somewhat parody of the parable of the garden of eden. The female lead eats the apple and gets sent away by God. The male lead gets punched by God, is force fed the apple, and is sent to current time Japan, where he meets the Archangel Michael.

His mission: to find and prevent his waifu from being NTRed

Gotta love archangels being pricks.

Uzumaki 1-END
I know this manga was supposed to be horror-oriented but there were a couple of times where I laughed at the 'creepy' parts. For example

The short stories told via the main character, Kirie, taking place in the village Kurozu-cho are most of the time disturbingly weird. The mosquito ladies of the hospital, the spiral hair, the screaming clay, people snail, etc are all tied around the idea of 'spirals'. What is in each stories work greatly in that I got freaked out, despite laughing at certain parts. The horror aspects are complemented greatly thanks to the art style and inking.

The only downside to Uzumaki is the characters, they're dumb to the point I cant help but face palm at most of their reactions. Most of the time, people are unfazed by the weird shit at this village. Like in one of the chapters, someone asks if they're ok to the person who just extended their bodies to inhuman proportions where they should die.

After finishing Uzumaki, I can honestly say, my psyche has been disturbed greatly. Only other manga that made me feel like that was Ai-ren.

To combat that, I've been reading Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun. While it started out uninteresting, it got funnier past chapter 10. I now know why my lil sister was excited about the anime. The characters are damn hilarious.

Yeah, I can't say I found uzumaki scary, but I love the way junji Ito uses the spiral as a way to create creepy images.

I dont, every time I see a spiral, my mind instantly gets reminded of the weird crap in that manga. Gonna take a while for this one to get off my mind. Doesnt help that I have a backache for some reason :I

I own all the Viz volumes and they seem fine to me. I don't have anything to compare them to though.

They picked the perfect plan to stop Yami-chan. It's just one step away from being a have sex to save her plan. Chapter wasn't super lewd until Mea started getting licked by the Rito clones.

Stravaganza - Isai no Hime 1-2

Between Reiroukan and this, I have a hunch the author likes his hometown. Just a hunch though.

I didn't realize there was a new thread because the last one didn't get locked :/
Oh well

Kingdom 395
Seems like an asspull from Ou Hon on this one. I expect good things (next chapter).

Souma 78
I like where this is going. No matter who win this, I hope the author keep setting numerous of (false) flag to make the fight between cooks more interesting, rather than the usual "death" flag we've seen in many series.

One Piece 753
Holy shit, what a bad chapter. Only bunch of page of a bunch of people throwing hits to each other. Oda pls

Had to go to like three different stores to find this. It was the only volume sold out anywhere! Confirmed best.

What is it?

The art looks nice.

Sidonia volume 10!

I was contemplating which to buy (out of the current 12) and picked 10 since it has my favourite pages. Of course it was the only volume sold out at the first two places I went to ( ´_⊃`)

*trolling* it's missing the Netflix logo *trolling*

I loved Uzumaki, it's so fucking strange and horrible and funny. When the little brother turns into a snail and guys are trying to eat him, complete insanity.

My favourite Junji Ito creation is Souichi, most evil kid in all Japan!

AKB49 189 RAW

That mini-twist at the end was pretty funny, but that didn't compare to the AKB49 musical they've announced. No really, it's true, what the heck guys.

Looking forward to that Yuko (who'd play her, or the senpais for that matter?) x Sae~~ (she'll be playing Minori) jokes or maybe the skits. Or the songs. Wait, who's playing Sae herself then? (lol)

Cast (via Stage48 link above):
Sae Miyazawa: Minoru Urayama Minori Urakawa
Mako Kojima and Nana Owada: Hiroko Yoshinaga
Akari Suda: Ai Okabe
Kaori Matsumura
Marika Tani and others (presumably as the kenkyuusei)
