I was wondering how they are gonna get the main group together seeing how only Kou and Futaba had any sort of close relation. A time skip and having all the main characters become the class representatives solves that problem. The last part reminds me of the manga Tenshi Nanka ja Nai by Ai Yazawa where she did a similar setup of having all the main characters join the student council in the first couple of chapters and then let the friendship and drama unfold from there.
Due to the age difference we are sadly never gonna get any mixup story arcs with the brothers, oh well

Came back to hear that there were some Type Moon announcements. Fuck Yes Heavens Feel is getting a movie adaption. It's the closest thing we'll ever get to Fate/Zero. I'm hyped though I feel bad for Fate route but we still get Heavens Feel.

Hunter x Hunter- mainly waiting for it to end right now not as hyped for it as before
Mahouka- I enjoy it for very specific reasons, none of which are 'it's a good show objectively'
SAO 2- Enjoying it for the same reasons as Mahouka, though the 'I'm in a girl looking body but I'm a boy' might get old really fast if that's the joke the whole time.
Da Ok but might drop if I am forcing myself through the episodes
Aldnoah.Zero- I guess I'm one of the few where nothing that has been done so far feels especially fresh or anything. Feels like another show about robots with kid pilots and the good guys losing. If focus gets bigger for Slaine I might gain more interest, seems like the most interesting character out of the cast.
Tokyo Ghoul- it's entertaining in a hilarious try-hard grimdark fashion, plus the faces they make. But another wimpy character is not something I want at the moment. If it becomes a battle anime I'll probably forgive its shortcomings.

Very happy they only took 1 ep to adapt this part.
We're now near the end of the prologue and of the happy days.
What this show needs is actual antagonist to mess thinsg up and this is gonna be great in a couple of weeks.

The second and third episode definitely followed up in delivering some really cool action as well as some nice drama. There were many things I found very annoying and very irksome. The first is the cast. Literally none of them are interesting and that goes double for the robot MC. I think it's one thing if there was a premise set or a promise of some cool background history but there isn't even that; maybe there exists one for Slaine =P.
Second problem is the odd dillydallying that they do. They take forever in doing some really pointless shit for some reason. Resupplying on the harbor? Thank you for taking the entire episode that amounted to nothing in the end. Strategizing in the school? Thank you for taking the time to explain how that shit works in the school and then AGAIN while you're taking down the damn robot. Why is there so much time wasting bullshit?
Thirdly, the CG is bad. Robots look cool but my gosh. Where did the days of cool looking traditional animation like from Code Geass? Whatever....
Fourthly, I really don't like that they leave things in the dark about certain plot elements. Explain what happened in the past please. Explain why there is a hierarchy in Mars and why the Orbital Knights are all massive douchebags to each other. Like... explain?
Maybe I'm just dumb.
