I will say this. And I will be viewed as a naive idiot in this thread but I don't really care about this particular aspect of me being judged. I'm still attached to my childhood friend. Though I think for me it's become bad over the years and I have to wonder if it was because I legitimately liked her, I enjoyed the times, or because I like that which I don't have. Whatever the case, I do think that there is some sort of childhood friend syndrome. Also, this was long before I ever watched anime btw.

the best part of Infinite Stratos was when they made fun of the trope by having two childhood friends.

The pacing of this show continues to leave something to be desired as we revisit Casshern's suicidal tendencies for the third time, only now with someone capable of killing him. We'd lose very little by cutting scenes and combining others to make this the third episode, maybe even just the second; I'll be surprised if I'm proven wrong in my assumption so far that this series might be better at 12 episodes than 24.
The ensuing fight with Dio is great, but the show wants to paint Casshern dying to solve problems in a bad light with the ominous music and how creepy the crowd calling for his death is made to look. The only reason I'm not rooting for Casshern's death right along with them is because I doubt he'd be the protagonist of this series if his death would solve anything, and if it could solve anything I doubt Dio would look like he has "EVIL" painted on his chest. So a little bit of a weird message there that I hope gets elaborated on soon.

The movies retell the plot of the show. The most important highlights of the film are:
1. The prologue, which is a nifty animation narrated by Lordgenome about the fall of the first Spiral Alliance, but you can watch it in Parallel Works instead if you want.
2. The fight against the Four Generals at once.
3. The final battle, which is extended with newer and more awesome stuff.
If he's an otaku I'd be more surprised if any of this wasn't routine for him.

Last time he was THIS depressed on twitter he had to change publishers .. i'd say Infinite stratos is going into a big hiatus at this rate.

The designs are so good though. It's probably the only Wild Arms where I really liked the character designs. The opening animation sequences were fucking awesome too.

Wild Arms 1 was probably one of my most memorable RPGs as a kid, I still whistle the intro whenever Im bored.

Well he shares a lot of things ,
Last week he shared that he dreamed about a cousin he had that he hadn't seen in 10 years and wondered what had become of said person, another day he dreamed abou being eaten by zombies , another day , another tale.. he is pretty active So well, after all this time people kinda see when he goes "dark" and so far this is one of those moments.
