Honestly I always imagined a handheld spinoff title that would be a side scrolled for Pikmin. You could only have 10 Pikmin out at a time but it'd still have similar gameplay to that of regular Pikmin. The world would just be scaled and weighted differently so that you can only bring 10. I almost an almost Super Metroid level of complexity in the map. Although a little bigger. That way when you start your day you dont have to spend too much time travelling.

That could be really cool. When I was playing Steamworld Dig, I kept getting a Pikmin vibe and thought you could do something similar with the series.

Pikmin GBA not existing is some kind of crime against nature.

I think it would have looked fine on the DS and with touch controls.

A little late but as far as who I am planning on maiming in ssb4... Probably the only consistent main I've ever had - Random button!

I really pride myself on being versed in all if the characters and understanding how to play them all. Granted there are some I prefer and like to play as more than others but when I get with friends and we are playing, I love just randoming. Makes it hard for them to consistently beat me because they canmt just adapt to one strategy to beat me.

Also, is that character portrait from one of the early Marth art pieces? If I recall correctly, most if not all of SSB64 character portraits were taken from promotional artwork from other games. (Mario's being from SM64, DK's being from DKC, etc.)

I honestly don't feel like reading the 30+ pages I missed since the last time I came in here but what's the general opinion about Rayman being playable? I just read the article about it.
It was supposed to be from a Nintendo employee. Was it real/fake?

The hair looks a lot like early FE portraits, but the face looks kind of like an edited Link.

Here's the trophy of the Sablé Prince. He transforms into a snake or a frog, and unloads multiple attacks on any opponent he catches. Keep attacking your foes when they're trapped in his dust cloud.

Won't comment on that as to not hint anything, but I will say I'm surprised with some of the choices so far, especially in the favorite veteran category. Some characters I don't hear people talking about much in the thread getting a lot of love.

The assist trophy choices really show that Sakurai was listening to some of the internet's character suggestions (Takumaru, Sable, Ashley and Dillion come to mind).
