PRINCE SABLE FANS BLOWN THE FUCK OUT!
Is that the Tomadachi stage?
Yeah, same floor texture.

I think a lot of people moved away from Prince Sable being the retro newcomer, but at least we know for sure.
Pic of the day. In this Smash Bros. installment, this little guy is also making an appearance! I…don't know his name, but he's the Prince of the Sablé Kingdom. He's from the Game Boy game Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru (translated as The Frog For Whom the Bell Tolls), which was only released in Japan.
Here's the trophy of the Sablé Prince. He transforms into a snake or a frog, and unloads multiple attacks on any opponent he catches. Keep attacking your foes when they're trapped in his dust cloud.
Protagonist of a Japanese game called For the Frog the Bell Tolls.who dat
Midna and Dark Samus as well. Granted most kinda gave up on the dream for either of those two after Brawl. The assist trophy choices really show that Sakurai was listening to some of the internet's character suggestions (Takumaru, Sable, Ashley and Dillion come to mind).
Okay, apparently 50% of this thread doesn't know who this Prince Sable is, either. That makes me feel better.

Sakurai has been killing dreams left and right. Deconfirmations are almost as exciting to me as confirmations. Anything that gives us a clearer picture of the final roster is good to me.
:-OI hope this means they bring his game over to the US VC like they did with Takamaru's.
Fake. Nintendo came out and clarified it was a mistake.

Yeah never played or paid attention to the character or game. I guess ive just seen too many smash prediction rosters.I feel pretty proud of being one of the apparently few people able to recognise Prince Sable.
There was some rumor (I'm sure it's fake) that the new Diddy Kong Racing game was going to feature a cast of secondary Nintendo characters to replace the likes of Conker and Banjo. Not sure it would fit with DKR, but I love whenever these lesser stars get the spotlight. You could make a decent Smash Bros. game with Assist Trophy characters.
I see.
lol Sakurai says he doesn't even know his name.
according to the wiki, that's cuz the player named him and they never actually gave him a canon nameI see.

He's obviously pointing at Ridley.
He actually doesn't have a name in the game, but everyone calls him Prince Sable because he is a Prince and from the Sable Kingdom.

Choose your fate.
Ridley, Wonder red, Chibi-robo, EBA
Prince Sable was a sticker in Brawl guys. I THOUGHT I WAS WITH FELLOW SMASHERS.
Yes, all those roster predictions that featured Prince Sable.
