I just found it very frustrating in what it was trying to do. Plus I stopped caring pretty quick about what was going on. Only thing I liked was the ending though it wasn't a huge surprise.

I do agree that some parts (mostly platforming sections) are frustrating and require a lot of trial and error, that's why I haven't tried the hardcore mode.

The story I don't even remember it xD

lol, I got confused and thought the game on the bundle was Daylight :/. Still, it looks like Deadlight got better review scores than that one, and was developed by Tequila Studios, the spanish dev who's also working on Rime for PS4.

So, I guess I'll give it a try!

gave away the keys to the kingdom.
Already got these. Fantastic bundle.

For future reference, you can include more than one key with a giveaway item just buy separating them with a space, so, for example, to give away CK2 and a few pieces of DLC as the one game, you'd put:

Crusaders Kings 2 and 3 DLC: BLAH1-BLAH1-BLAH1 BLAH2-BLAH2-BLAH2 BLAH3-BLAH3-BLAH3 BLAH4-BLAH4-BLAH4

Humble still haven't fixed their 2-way verify browser error. Unless this is just some crazy feature but it can't be for security as I've had the same code sent to me every time now for the past couple of months.

Anyone wanna have King of Fighters?
I wait until I eat dinner and then gift it to the one I love the most from the ones who want.

This will only lead to bitter tears, disappointment and hate. Give it to a complete stranger you have no feelings towards. Like me.

They've been sending me the same code too for the past couple of months. But they haven't asked for verification in the last two weeks at all. I don't know how their system works.

Ah its that time where we start getting giveaways from people's leftovers :D I'm not interested this time around though, none of the games interest me. Besides, I wouldn't have won anyway

I'm probably the minority with this opinion, but I didn't like Terraria. Maybe it's just because I didn't play it long enough! I didn't really know what to do in the game and hated standing around doing nothing during nighttime.

I might give it another shot later, though. I know the dev adds massive amounts of free content, which is awesome.

BTA seems to have bottomed out around $4.80 and is creeping back up, if you're considering buying you may want to lock in now at a penny so you can decide later and still get the low BTA.

I loved it for a while but when I started a new game on the more "hardcore" mode of items dropping when you die I found it very frustrating at times. I did really enjoy the fact that there were clear goals, bosses to beat, and paths to progression, in addition to being open ended and free form.

I didn't like it either.
But then again i'm not a big fan of games like that. Don't care for Minecraft either.

Any good site that can tell me the (current) value of such things? I can get like 7 keys atm.

I mean, with traders etc.

I just told you the value. ;) Keys (as in TF2/CS:GO ones) are basically considered $2 coins but they tend to hover a little above that. A Tour of Duty ticket/CS:GO Sticker Capsule key is worth half a key. There's no need to dive into ref since you can't buy it from the market.

It's a game that's best in long bursts and lots of friends.

I didn't have much interest in playing it by myself, but a friend who was well experienced in it basically gave me the tour of the game and it was pretty fun in that context. Had the impression that it was a 2D Minecraft, but I was surprised to find that the actual building wasn't the crux of what there was to do and that it had a pretty good exploration and adventure element.

Sorry, I meant the trade value of digital good. I have some tf2 hats around and stuff. ;)

I kind of like Minecraft, but only for building stuff in creative mode. And playing Minecraft like that makes it nothing like Terraria. Terraria feels like a really niche game!

It's a game that's best in long bursts and lots of friends.

Oops, I was playing it in short bursts by myself. :X It does seem like it would be funner multiplayer.

I need a Terraria veteran to do that with me someday, lol! There's a bit of a learning curve to that game, and a lot of people go into it thinking it's a 2D Minecraft instead of an adventuring game, like you said.

Okay :D
You were one of the first users I could recognize when I joined SteamGAF

It's the only thing I'm missing from the bundle, but the rest of the games are so good I'm thinking about buying the BTA tier and modbotting the rest of them.
I love Enhanced Steam, but I do trust that you will spread more games through modbot.

Attempting to improve my chances by posting random music links.
Nice tracks, but I sadly don't know you that much :(

This will only lead to bitter tears, disappointment and hate. Give it to a complete stranger you have no feelings towards. Like me.
Nice try :p
But I like your name at least.

A story from CK2. Might sell you.

I was growing old and my wife was starting to bore me. A young 20 something year old lady came to my council. She was hot but her husband worked for me. I decided to hold a feast and ended up flirting with her. We did the deed. We kept going until she got pregnant. Her husband thought it was his. Years later my wife found out. I divorced her and lost my lover in the process.

I then slept with many more women and died in war.

Oh and you can murder people, imprison them, assassinate your rivals, kill your son, marry your daughter and do loads of other fucked up stuff.

It's pretty much a bad person simulator. You think you don't have it in you but just you wait.

You get to experience what it's like to live in a world like Game of Thrones.

Crusader Kings II with the awesome Game of Thrones Mod is the best Game of Thrones game that exists so far and probably will ever exist.

The nighttime bits are annoying at first, but that really only matters if you are on the surface. The game is really focused on exploration and hunting for raw materials and treasure, and if you are doing that you are spending 95% of your time underground where day or night doesn't matter at all.

Of course if you are trying to build elaborate structures, you are going to have to deal with constant zombie attacks every time night rolls around. I never really had much desire to build anything more than basic houses for the various NPCs, so that never bothered me much.

So, what exactly is Crusader Kings II? It looks mad complicated like the Europa Universalis series, which I've also never played, but from the way you described it, that's not the case? I tend to like real-world strategy games like that. CKII looks incredibly complicated, which is really intimidating. Is it hard to learn? Is it worth it?

I joined your group, but then I wondered that this may be a thinly veiled trap by Gabe to gather the IdleM@ster groupies in one spot and mass VAC ban everyone. Then I laughed.

Even if he did were talking valve time here.
Wouldn't happen until we were all done with Steam.

Most confusing game I've played haha. still don't know what a lot of the things in the game do.

However, I play it like a role playing game. Don't care about taking over the world or anything. I enjoy the stories and getting used to that part isn't too bad.

But yea be ready to spend a few hours getting to grips lol. Check out some YouTube tutorials. I don't regret the time I spent learning.

The game of thrones mod is amazing but I stopped playing in case of spoilers.

Game is special. Nothing like killing the kids of the guy who betrayed you (although I felt too bad to do this).

I've found that I love reading about Crusader Kings II more than almost any other game in existence, but when it comes to actually playing it, I just bounce off of it.
